"I wonder if this Seele girl will call me a kid too, just like that idiotic niece of mine who could really use a good smack. If only I could get taller! TAT"
Gazing up at the Oath of Judah, who stood taller than her, Theresa sighed again in resignation. She always said it didn't bother her, but deep down, her height still weighed on her mind. With one hand, she lifted Judah and made her way toward the ward where Lunelle was resting.
Meanwhile, as Theresa went to check in on Lunelle—
The five-minute cooldown passed, and Lunelle immediately resumed from her previous save, launching the simulation again.
Thanks to the successful save, Lunelle's consciousness re-entered the same modest residential house she had become familiar with in past simulations.
But this time, due to the save file, she didn't have to go through the torment of being forcibly enlightened by those high-level figures like before.
She quietly examined her inner consciousness and confirmed that the simulator's listed abilities were properly bound to her. Her cherished wife, Dark Seele, lay peacefully deep within her mind.
She had been warned not to go seeking her wife just to do something indecent, so Lunelle had to hold back the temptation to summon Dark Seele for sex.
Instead, she began to think carefully about her next move.
"When in doubt, just kill that capitalist swine to lift your spirits!"
She remembered her vow to kill that man every time she entered the simulation. Though he hadn't caused trouble recently thanks to the last save and settlement, revenge was still on her mind.
So once the idea took root, Lunelle moved to act on it.
But just a few steps outside the house, a gang of thugs suddenly appeared from all sides, cutting off every path of escape.
"Miss Seele? Our young master's been waiting for you. You wouldn't want anything bad to happen to the folks at the orphanage because of your choices, right?"
The man who appeared to be the leader spoke in a dramatic Far Eastern tone, his intentions clear.
Behind Lunelle, two more lowlifes emerged. One held a cloth soaked in anesthetic, the other a sack large enough to shove her into by force.
From their behavior, it was obvious—whether she resisted or not, they were going to take her.
But what these scumbags didn't know was that Lunelle wasn't the obedient "Seele" they remembered from the past.
"Oh? Are you the dog raised by that filthy capitalist?"
Surrounded, Lunelle remained calm. After inheriting all of Seele's painful memories, she had no trouble recognizing these animals for what they were.
"If you've come here to die, then I'll start with you."
For human trash like them—who preyed on women and children—there was no need to hold back. Killing them would only rid the world of filth.
Without hesitation, Lunelle reached inward and called out to her other self—Dark Seele.
[Please, another me!]
Dark Seele: "???"
Dark Seele had been expecting to watch her wife crush these fools alone, so she was surprised when she was summoned instead.
[Yes, yes… I swear, you're hopeless.]
But I'm charging you later!
Though she thought these enemies were barely worth her time, Dark Seele loved her wife too much to ignore her plea.
So the moment Lunelle called her, Dark Seele took over.
Lunelle's usual gentle eyes—blue and serene—turned blood-red in an instant, filled with twisted intensity and killing intent.
The wave of bloodlust swept over the scumbags, freezing them in place. Though Seele still stood there, delicate and fragile, none of them dared take another step forward.
"You dared lay a hand on my precious Seele? You've got a death wish, don't you?"
The fear had already rooted in their legs, but for Dark Seele, this much wasn't enough. Since she'd been summoned, she had to live up to her title—the Authority of Death.
A massive blood-red scythe, larger than Lunelle's whole body, appeared in her hand. A sinister smile twisted her crimson eyes.
Watching the girl they thought they could control turn into a monster, the thugs fell apart. Some collapsed, others begged shamelessly for mercy.
But it was too late. They had crossed a line that could never be uncrossed.
Honestly, Dark Seele felt killing them was beneath her. These pathetic things might dirty her blade.
Still, she couldn't disappoint her wife, now could she?
"So noisy. Just die already."
She figured her beloved's ears didn't need to hear these wretches scream.
With a flash of red light, she moved—too fast for their eyes.
And in the next instant, a thug's head flew skyward.
Their headless bodies sprayed blood like fountains. The mess painted the walls, though Dark Seele herself remained untouched.
The stench of blood still left her mildly nauseated.
In total, there were only about a dozen who'd taken bribes to capture Seele.
And in less than a minute, a dozen lives were erased from the simulation—leaving behind a dozen fresh corpses.
