JONATHAN'S POV
"You want to go to the police station now?" I asked Eleni over the phone.
"Yes. If you're not too busy. I'm very anxious staying home alone. If you're not chanced to, I can go alone. I'll take a cab." She replied, and I looked outside my office. Danielle was already packing to go for the event she said she had to prepare for.
"I don't think you have to be there in person. I'm free today, so I can head to the police station first and then have my driver pick you up." I replied. "I planned to go there today for a personal matter anyway, so it's no big deal." I added it before she started trying to insist I didn't have to. Women could be weird sometimes.
She hesitated. "Alright then. You can just call me when you find out."
There was a knock on the door as I dropped the call. "Come in." I called out.
Danielle entered the office. "I'm going to be headed out now, sir."
I nodded. "Alright. Have fun."
