Chapter 46 - CHAPTER FORTY SIX

JONATHAN'S POV

I'd pondered on whether to ask her this question or not, even though it was the first that had come to mind when she had suggested this ridiculous game. I hadn't been honest with my answers, and I'd been around enough liars a lot to know she hadn't been totally honest with me either. In the end, I decided to ask her. I wasn't that curious since I was confident of my ability to find out without her help, but it was a lot of fun to fluster her every once in a while.

"Why did you go searching in my room the night I traveled for a meeting?" I asked her, and she froze. She remained silent for the next two minutes, and when she responded, it wasn't the question I had been expecting she asked.

"Are you watching me?"

"What?" I replied, a little flustered.

She shrugged. "Fine. I get that you knew I had looked in your room, but how about you? Are you watching me? Do you have a monitor on me or something like that?"
