Chapter 57 - Part 56:

Meanwhile, in the dimly lit Seoul apartment, a scene of stark contrast unfolds. Destiny and Darius, hand-in-hand, approach the building with an almost mundane air, their celestial nature carefully veiled.

Destiny: *Squeezes his hand, a flicker of anxiety on her complexion.* What if…?

Darius: *Interrupts gently, his wings rustling softly beneath his trench coat. Offers a reassuring smile, though a trace of worry lingers in his own gaze.* Have faith, my darling. Fate has a plan, and this is part of it. Don't let your guard down and remember the story we've came up with?

Destiny: *Rolls her eyes playfully, a small smile returning to her lips.* Right, right. 'Out of fuel,' a mile from civilization. So convincing.

They shared a brief, private smile. The facade drops momentarily, revealing the celestial beings beneath the human disguise. They ring the doorbell. Cha Hae-In, a powerful hunter and Jin-Woo's secret girlfriend, opens the door. She scans them with a practiced eye, but detects no immediate treat. The illusion holds.

Cha Hae-In: *Raises an eyebrow, her voice cool yet friendly.* Can I help you?

Darius: *Puts on a charming, slightly flustered expression.* Oh, hello. Our car… it seems to have run out of fuel. Just down the road. *He points into a random direction, making the story sound more believable.* We were wondering if perhaps we could use your phone?

Cha Hae-In hesitates for a brief moment, but with a shrug, she steps aside, allowing them entrance. Darius and Destiny exchanges a quick knowing glance as their eyes fall upon Jin-Woo's body, bound to a chair in the center of the room. A look of disgust crosses Jin-Woo's face as he saw the angel twosome.

Imposer: *Scoffs, straining against the ropes that bind him.* Angels. Of course. Should have know it wouldn't be that easy. I guess my creator would be happy to hear that your leader has failed his mission.

Darius: *Raises an eyebrow, feigning innocence.* My dear fellow, I can assure you, that we mean you no harm… well, at least, not the vessel.

Destiny: *Taps her foot impatiently, her hand hovering near the tilt of a concealed dagger.* Let's skip the pleasantries, babe. We're on a very tight schedule.

Cha Hae-In: *Turns her attention between the angels and the imposer, suspicion hardening into alarm.* What's going on here? Who are you?

Darius: *Waves a dismissive hand, his smile not quite reaching his eyes.* A simple misunderstanding, my dear. We're just… admiring the young man's… unique talents. *He beats around the bush.*

Destiny: *Rolls her eyes, drawing the concealed dagger. The blade shimmers with celestial energy.* Enough with the charade. We're here to bring you, Jinah and Jin-Woo, I mean the imposer, back with us.

Cha Hae-In: *Summons her twin daggers, their edges glowing with a menacing blue aura.* You'll have to go through me first. I swore an oath to protect his body, at least until I can reverse the soul swap.

Darius: *Sighs, running a hand through his leaf-colored hair.* My dear girl, such violence isn't necessary. We assure you, no harm will come to any of you. Simply a... temporary relocation.

Imposer: *Strains harder against the ropes, his eyes fixed on Destiny's shimmering dagger. A dagger that can only hurt things that's not from the light. He can feel the shift in the atmosphere.* Relocation? Where do you think you're taking me?

Destiny: *A sly smile plays on her lips.* Somewhere… far away from here.
