After that, all the other students went to fight Mateo one by one. The first few did pretty decently, lasting a couple of minutes, but as fewer and fewer were left, the time they managed to last drastically shortened.
Abigail just kept scribbling notes in her notebook, but with each student lasting shorter and shorter, she just sighed as she rubbed her temples.
"Well, he does like to go overboard," she muttered to herself. She knew Mateo fairly well, and he was very powerful.
So these students that had awakened for barely a year, lasting a short time, were normal; with that mindset, the disappointment in her eyes lessened.
Mateo, on the other hand, just looked extremely bored. The first couple of students had given him a slight thrill, but the ones after that… They barely lasted half a minute; rolling his eyes after he knocked down the last one, he leisurely picked the student up and made his way toward the other students and Abigail.
