"Ah," Sakon sneered mockingly. "I was hoping to scare the snake out of the grass, but I didn't expect a bunch of little mice to come running instead."
A few of them were about to engage, but Shikamaru quickly interrupted, "Wait a minute! We're here to negotiate!"
"Then what the hell do these guys mean?!" Kidomaru suddenly reached forward and pulled—
Nothing happened…
"These guys!" He tried pulling again—
Still nothing…
Suddenly, Kidomaru felt a massive force from behind, and before he could react, he was yanked backward and sent crashing into a thick tree with a loud BANG!
"Kidomaru!" the other three yelled in shock.
At that moment, Naruto walked out of the bushes slowly, stretching. "Pull, pull, pull—what are you pulling so much for? Are you trying to piss me off? Can't you see I was taking a damn piss?"
"Bastard! How dare you mock us?!" Jirōbō snarled, stepping forward. "Doton—"
Before he could finish, the bodies of all four Sound Ninja disappeared in an instant.
"Nice one, Naruto!" Shikamaru smirked. "They fell for it!"
It was Shadow Imitation Jutsu!
The others regrouped with Shikamaru, but Sakon just grinned. "A good secret technique, but what a shame—I can do the same!"
As soon as he finished speaking, several kunai were thrown from the bushes, heading straight for Shikamaru.
Sakon smirked. "Heh."
Before the kunai could reach their target, they were casually knocked away—by Naruto, who was yawning.
"…"
"You little shits! Stop underestimating us!" Jirōbō roared as the Curse Mark spread across his body. With sheer brute force, he broke free from Shikamaru's Shadow Possession.
"Nani?!" Shikamaru's eyes widened. "Everyone, be careful!"
Jirōbō quickly weaved hand signs and slammed his palm to the ground.
"Doton: Shiten Kōkōjin!"
The ground trembled, and massive boulders rose, forming an airtight stone prison around them.
"He's mine," Jirōbō smirked. "I'll take my time recovering my chakra."
"Hmph, just don't take too long!" Tayuya scoffed. "Let's go!"
Inside the barrier, Kiba wasted no time and attacked. "!"
He spun like a drill, smashing into the wall—only to see the damage instantly repair itself.
"Shit," Shikamaru muttered. "It regenerates?!"
"Not just that," Neji activated his Byakugan and frowned. "This barrier is also draining our chakra!"
"Rasengan!"
A swirling sphere of chakra slammed into the wall—BOOM!—blasting a massive hole through it.
"Alright, let's go! Single file, no pushing!" Naruto waved everyone through.
As they stepped out, they saw Jirōbō lying in the dirt, still recovering from the Rasengan impact. The other three were already gone.
Jirōbō stood up and cracked his knuckles. "Not bad… for a bunch of small fry."
"Nani?! How dare you look down on us?!" Kiba snarled, rushing forward .
"Hmph!" Jirōbō kneed him in the stomach mid-spin, sending him flying.
He then slammed his hands onto the ground and lifted an entire chunk of earth, shaping it into a massive boulder.
"Doton: Doryō Dango!"
The colossal stone, the size of a hill, loomed over them.
"Impossible…!" Kiba gasped.
Jirōbō hurled the massive boulder at them.
"Jump!" Shikamaru shouted.
Everyone scattered—except for Naruto.
"Nani?! Naruto, move!"
Naruto didn't move. He yawned, stretched out an arm—
"Shōmon… KAI!"
BOOM!
Naruto's fist stopped the giant boulder in mid-air. Cracks spread across its surface. With a final burst of power—
BANG!
The stone shattered into rubble.
Naruto stepped forward, rolling his shoulders. "Alright, you got ten seconds."
"Bastard! You underestimate me!" Jirōbō roared, charging at him.
"Nine!"
BOOM!
Naruto sent Jirōbō flying with a single punch.
A dark curse mark spread across Jirōbō's entire body. His muscles swelled grotesquely. "With the full power of my Curse Seal: Level 2, my strength is ten times greater! You're dead!"
"One!" Naruto grinned. "… KAI!"
His entire body surged with green energy.
"Asakujaku!"
Naruto's fists blurred. The sheer speed created a storm of friction-fueled fire punches, each exploding on impact as they slammed into Jirōbō.
"Guh…!"
Jirōbō collapsed. Blood trickled from his mouth as he trembled. "W-Where's… 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2…?"
Naruto blinked, looking confused. "Oh? Wait, 1 comes after 8?"
He scratched his head. "Shit. Sorry. I can't count."
PFFT!
Jirōbō coughed up more blood—then passed out.
Everyone stared.
"…"
"Damn," Shikamaru muttered. "He literally died from sheer frustration."
"Alright, let's move!" Naruto called.
As the group set off to chase Sasuke, Kidomaru suddenly sensed something.
"They're here!" He turned—just in time to see a kunai flying at his face.
"NANI?!"
He barely dodged. "What the hell is Jirōbō doing?!"
"Heh, looks like he failed." Tayuya scoffed. "Guess he really was the weakest."
"Fine, I'll handle them," Kidomaru said. "You two go ahead."
"Kumo Shibari!"
Thick spiderwebs shot out, sticking Shikamaru to a tree.
But before Kidomaru could react,!"
WHAM!
Lee's kick sent him stumbling back.
"Guh… Kumo Sōkai!"
A massive sticky web expanded in the air, trapping Lee mid-air.
Kidomaru smirked, then spat out a hardened golden projectile from his mouth.
"Kumo Nenkin Yari!"
A hardened golden boomerang flew toward the group.
"Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu!"
A sudden fireball burned through the boomerang.
"NANI?! A fire-style user?!"
Kidomaru turned—only to see Naruto approaching.
Panic flickered across his face. Blond hair. Blue eyes. A familiar presence.
"You… You're Uzumaki Naruto?!"
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Huh? You know me?"
Kidomaru sneered. "Orochimaru-sama told us to avoid you, but looks like I'll make an exception."
He activated his Curse Mark: Level 2, transforming into a monstrous form.
Kidomaru spat out a barrage of spiderwebs.
Naruto's eye twitched.
"…Fuck. That's disgusting."
Before Kidomaru could fire his golden arrow, a fist slammed into his face.
Naruto cracked his knuckles.
"Bitch, what do you think you are, an ADC? You don't stand still in front of an assassin!"
