After spending the night at the inn, Igami and I wasted no time preparing for the day ahead.
"Master" she began, her voice quieter than usual, "do you think they'll find me weak at the guild?" She hesitated before continuing "If they do, perhaps you should release my aura"
I studied her for a moment, noting the subtle tension in her posture. She was strong—far stronger than anything here and possibly stronger than anything in this tutorial world —but the restrictions she had been placed upon her mana core by the goddess made her seem far less imposing than she truly was.
"Probably not" I replied, adjusting my clothing slightly, some lipstick marks around my lower belly and some closer to the pelvis can be seen while I put my pants back on "If they have anyone capable of sensing mana, they'll probably shit their pants just looking at your mana signature alone" I paused, considering her request before shaking my head. "no that can't be done now, if you remember, the goddess only sealed your aura away, so you still have infinite mana or close to it, you just don't have your aura which I'm pretty sure would freeze everything here and turn this part of the city into a permanent iceberg"
It was the obvious answer, but Igami seemed to accept it, her shoulders relaxing just a fraction. She nodded politely.
"Understood, Master" she murmured, straightening up.
Satisfied that the matter was settled, I gestured toward the door. "Let's get moving. The guild won't wait forever."
After a short but brisk walk through the streets of the city, Igami and I finally arrived at the Adventurer's Guild. The building was an sight to behold, constructed of fine oak and reinforced iron, its doors were carved with symbols that represent force and courage... I think. The symbol of the guild—a sword crossed with a staff—hung above the entrance.
For some reason, Igami stepped forward before I could enter, her blue eyes scanning the interior with cautious precision. Huh, is she checking for threats? I mused, watching as she slipped inside with the grace of a shadow. Moments later, she reappeared, holding the door open with a small, respectful bow.
"Come in, Master" she said, her voice as calm and composed as ever.
I gave a small nod and stepped inside, immediately feeling the shift in atmosphere. The guild hall was alive with activity—adventurers of all kinds huddled around wooden tables, some nursing drinks, others arguing over quest rewards or sharpening their blades. The scent of ale, roasted meat, and the faint metallic tang of weapon polish filled the air.
But as soon as we entered, a ripple of murmurs spread through the crowd. Eyes—some curious, others suspicious—turned toward us. It wasn't hard to guess why. Igami, dressed in her pristine black-and-white maid outfit, stood out like a raven among pigeons in this rough-and-tumble den of warriors and rogues. A few whispers reached my ears:
"A maid? Here?"
"Is she lost?"
"What's with that getup?"
"She's hot as fuck!"
I ignored them. If they had a problem, they could voice it—otherwise, I wasn't going to waste time explaining myself.
My focus shifted to the reception desk, where a beautiful elf woman stood, her long silver hair cascading over her shoulders like moonlight. Her emerald-green eyes held a quiet intelligence, and her pointed ears twitched slightly as she noticed our approach. A polished brass nameplate on the desk read: Margaria Lynthael.
Cool name I thought with an inward smirk. Fancy
Then it hit me—Wait… is she the only demi-human I've seen in this city so far? My gaze flickered around the room. Every other face belonged to humans—no dwarves, no beastkin, no other elves. That's… odd. Are the humans here aggressive towards other races ? Huh
Margaria's voice pulled me from my thoughts.
"Hey, mister…?" She tilted her head slightly, waiting for me to introduce myself.
I wasn't in the mood for formalities, so I kept it brief.
"Name's Mikaell" I said, shrugging. "But you can just write it as 'Mike' if that's easier."
She gave a polite nod, her slender fingers moving with practiced efficiency as she jotted the information onto an official-looking parchment. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she cast a small spell—a soft blue glow enveloped the paper before solidifying into a thin, metallic card. An adventurer's license. Convenient.
"And this is my support mage, Igami Kashin" I added, gesturing to my ever-loyal maid.
Margaria repeated the process, crafting a second card for Igami. But when I glanced to my side, Igami was already gone—vanished into the crowd like a ghost.
A second later, she reappeared, holding a paper between her fingers. She placed it on the counter calmly
I glanced down.
Quest: Slay the Frostfang Wyrm (Class SSS)
Location: inside the dark forest, close to the huge cavern
Reward: up to negotiation
A few nearby adventurers who had been eavesdropping suddenly stiffened. One of them, a burly swordsman with a scar across his face, choked on his drink.
Margaria's composed expression faltered for just a second before she regained her professionalism.
"Sir" she said carefully "this is an SSS-ranked quest. It's… not available to newly registered adventurers. The guild restricts high-risk missions to protect inexperienced-"
"I accept it" I interrupted. "Even if I get hurt, that's on me."
The room fell silent. Even Margaria seemed taken aback by my sheer audacity. But after a brief pause, she sighed and stamped the paper.
"Very well" she murmured. "But please… be careful."
Igami's lips curled into the beautiful smile she always have when she knows it's about time to get alone with me.
The guild hall remained quiet as we turned to leave—every pair of eyes locked onto us in stunned disbelief.

I'm kinda hitting the creative wall, probably I will follow the flow and see what happens next, to be honest I don't seek fame or anything like that, I'm pretty much putting my ideas in a readable format so I can go back and see what my crazy and fucked mind had to offer...if someone actually read this, hope you are having a awesome day or night!
Well, I think the fight will be pretty boring due to Igami sheer strength but whatever right ? I guess this volume will not be long as I want to shove mike into another dimension already...I'm kinda impatient not for the reasons you must be thinking...it's actually fear of forgetting what I want to do with the story ! that's how absolutely clueless I am about everything
Also yeah I implied that igami gave mike the gawk gawk 9000 with extra spit...yeah she does that everyday for him 🗣️🔥
My friends on discord want to know if it's really me writing this so here goes a inside joke : I could walk suicune in a leash to be honest...
Mike can only be described as :
the guts destroyer
The heart poker
The brain toucher
The firehouse
