" Luna! What has come over you? Are you insane??!" A voice that was warm with resonance and a slight huskiness hinting at manhood came in yelling as he stepped in with striking long legs and anger drawn all over that God-like face.
" Phoenix! Have you come to tell me off for her? I'm doing all these for you. For us to be together... Have you forgotten? We are soul mat–"
" Enough!!" He yelled again freezing her words mid-air and refusing to go soft from that sweet compelling voice. The voice that once could always sway his every action.

And we are nothing together! " He added with a look of detest on his face.
A look of shock followed by a series of painful laughter flowed after his words accompanied by tears on the face that was enough to cause mountains to move.
" A monster! Am I a monster? For her, you call me a monster? All I did was get powerful enough to break your curse. I wanted us to be able to be together. I was dying desperate for our touch together..."
" You didn't have to become a monster for that! I can't even recognize you anymore" He spoke, shaking his head from utter disappointment.
" Are you blaming me? I wouldn't have become like this if you had stayed by my side and had not gone off with that mundane of a girl! You broke the rules first!" Luna yelled back as pain swelled in her chest. It was the aftermath of the dark practice combined with hurtful words from the gentleman in front of her. Her eyes got teary again.
Hearing this phoenix stepped closer and held her neck, choking her... Ignoring the tears that flowed down her pale Rosy cheeks
" I broke the rules? Did I not tell you, Luna, that I am not bound by any rules? My destiny lies in my own hands. Not even the council, anyone, nor you can take that away from me. If you ever touch Irene again, you will never like me." He spoke spelling out his words harshly as he let go of her causing her to drop to her knees.
With hasty steps, he left her presence.
Luna held her chest from anger and pain. She was annoyed at how weak she felt in his presence.
Then Clutching at her chest, she stared at the retreating figure.
" Phoenix! We're bound by blood and Mother says blood is thicker than water."
