"Hello, Sir Leon," Ellie greeted, bowing deeply in front of him.
"Show some respect, idiot! He's the reason we're not starving right now," she snapped, smacking her little brother on the back of the head.
"I-I'm sorry! H-Hello, Sir..." Daniel stuttered, bowing clumsily.
"Please come in, Sir Leon. Can I get you anything to eat ?" Ellie asked, biting her lip nervously as she walked toward the kitchen.
"No need," Leon replied, stepping inside and letting his eyes scan the house. The house wasn't in a very good condition, bare floors, cracked walls, and barely any furniture. Just a small table that looked like it had survived a war.
"Here… sit, Sir," Ellie said, bringing over a rickety wooden chair.
Leon took it with a nod, sitting down casually and spreading his legs as he leaned back.
"Mom! I chopped three trees! I'm getting good at it, right?" a kid's voice shouted from outside.
"Yes, Yes... You did a very good job."
