Just as Lucifer had said before, he had not returned to the inn that night and had spent that time outside. To be more specific, he had been at that port for quite a long time, repeatedly throwing Test into the sea for the vampire to check if there were any monsters below.
By the time Lucifer realized it, the sun had risen in the East, dyeing the sky pink and reflecting on the calm, peaceful sea. Seagulls were flying in the sky, signaling the arrival of the day.
