Chapter 114 - A Marriage Ad for Snape?

— — — — — — —

Back on track!

Dumbledore realized—Hermione was really short on money.

And she was exceptionally talented in potions, not to mention how eager she was to learn.

After a moment of reflection, he decided to reward her: "I can't give you the Philosopher's Stone, but I can reward you with 2,000 Galleons."

"Also, if you want access to more magic books, I can issue you a special permit to enter the Restricted Section! Of course, some books are still off-limits—you'll have to wait for those!"

"Additionally, if you want to study potion-making, I can have Snape personally tutor you. He will provide the ingredients you need as well. What do you think of this reward?"

After all, Snape did admire Hermione's talent in potions, right?

This was a perfect chance to find him a student.

Hearing this, Hermione's eyes widened in shock and excitement.

"Are you serious?!"

"Haha! Of course! I am the Headmaster of Hogwarts—my word carries weight!"

"Then I accept! Thank you, Headmaster! You're the best! Hehe!"

Dumbledore chuckled heartily.

Hermione grinned and thanked him cheerfully.

The money was nice, but the real prize was a legitimate pass to the Restricted Section and Snape's personal tutoring. Plus, she wouldn't have to pay for ingredients—what could be better than that?

She could already see herself mastering magic and potions at an insane pace.

Five Days Later

Uchiha Renzo, Pirate Renzo, and the others had just finished syncing new memories and abilities with Hermione.

They all looked at each other.

And they all had the same reaction: Their eye muscles twitched uncontrollably.

"What's with those looks?" Hermione asked, completely baffled.

"Uh... Ahem!" Uchiha Renzo cleared his throat and said, "We're just... shocked by your brutal methods."

"Beating every challenge with pure violence was already surprising enough! But you actually used Harry as a human weapon against Voldemort! Gotta admit, that's some next-level strategy."

"Dumbledore is still so impressed with you! But if Harry had gotten seriously hurt, he'd probably be out for revenge!"

That boy was Dumbledore's carefully groomed 'Chosen One.'

"Oh, come on!" Hermione rolled her eyes. "I'm not the original Hermione! I've always been like this! I just had to hold back before because I wasn't strong enough."

"And besides! Dumbledore's ultimate goal is to eliminate Voldemort. The method doesn't matter! He's not Harry's babysitter—why would he blame me over something like this?"

Dumbledore's morals were respectable overall.

Sure, he had his manipulative moments, but at the end of the day, he was still a good person.

"That's true!" Uchiha Renzo nodded, then smirked. "But getting Snape—the Bat of the Dungeons—to genuinely agree to teach you? Now that's impressive!"

"Make sure to milk every bit of knowledge out of that old bat! This is a golden opportunity!"

"And don't forget to absorb as much magic as possible from the Restricted Section! Occlumency and Fiendfyre, for example, are incredibly useful!"

It had only been a few days, and Hermione had already mastered so many new abilities. Uchiha Renzo, Pirate Renzo, and even the Gundam Renzo were thrilled.

"Of course!" Hermione crossed her arms and lifted her chin proudly. "I am a genius, after all! Even Dumbledore would want to train me personally!"

"As for Snape? He's actually a great teacher! People misunderstand him too much!"

"And honestly... he's kind of a tragic guy."

She couldn't just let him die alone and miserable.

So, she decided—she was going to post a marriage ad for Snape in the Wizarding Newspaper.

She was determined to find him a nice witch wife!

With Snape's reputation as a Potions Master, plenty of witches in the magical world would definitely be interested.

And honestly? This was going to be hilarious.

Immediately, Hermione shared her idea with Uchiha Renzo and the others, asking for their input.

They all stared at her.

More twitching. Way more twitching.

After a long silence, Uchiha Renzo sighed and finally said, "I mean... it's not a bad idea... I just didn't expect you to be this crazy. Is this just... who you are?"

"W-What?!" Hermione's face turned a bit red. "I am not crazy! I'm just... helpful!"

She pouted but then grinned again. "Since you all think it's a good idea, I'll go for it! Hehe!"

And just like that, Hermione made a decision that would change Snape's life forever.

"You know," Uchiha Renzo said dryly, "maybe you should discuss this with Dumbledore first."

"I'm pretty sure he'd support you."

There was no way anyone could keep something like this from Dumbledore!

And if they wanted to keep Snape in the dark, set everything up properly, and ensure nothing went wrong, they would definitely need Dumbledore's support.

"Makes sense! I'll go discuss it with him, then!" Hermione nodded.

Dumbledore knew all too well about Snape's painful past. If there was a way to help him move on, step out of his shadow, and start a new life, he probably wouldn't refuse.

"Oh, right!"

At that moment, Hermione Renzo turned to Uchiha Renzo.

"I bought one of those magical suitcases like Newt Scamander's! Just a smaller version. The principle behind it is the same; the only difference is the material and the cost of making it."

"Also, I've mastered the Undetectable Extension Charm! You should be able to start working on creating your own storage space now!"

"By the way..."

"I never actually asked—can our world's magic be used in yours?"

Uchiha Renzo and the rest all shook their heads.

"Nope. Still the same issue with different world rules."

"The way you guys use magic relies on wands, specific movements, and incantations to activate spells."

"Honestly, that's kind of weird!"

"Clearly, your world has something like a 'magic network' that simplifies the entire process!"

"For us to actually use your spells, we'd need more than just our visual abilities and Takamagahara's projection techniques. We'd have to study the underlying magical scripts and spell formations, break down each spell into its core structure, and fully understand how magic energy is converted and applied!"

This wasn't exactly surprising.

Hermione simply nodded, unfazed.

"I see. I'll start learning more about this and work on reverse-engineering spells from the simplest ones first!"

Not that it would be a problem for her.

After all, she had cheats.

And if she ran into anything she didn't understand, she could always ask Snape, Dumbledore, or Professor Flitwick.

That was the advantage of being a brilliant student!

"We're looking forward to it!"

Pirate Renzo and the others grinned.

Sure, they could cast spells through Takamagahara's Domain projection, but having a proper method would make things much more convenient.

"Oh, and another thing!"

Hermione turned to Gundam Renzo.

"I need some advanced biological instruments for my potion studies. I want to try integrating future technology to make potion brewing more precise and efficient. Can you help me learn about and memorize some of the top-tier equipment? I'll try building them myself!"

She was even considering creating a quantum computer and programming her own AI assistant—something like Red Queen—to help with her research.

She already had the perfect place in mind—the Room of Requirement.

As long as she set up the necessary protective measures, it would work just fine.

Of course, there was still one major issue to solve.

Magic interference.

Technology and electronics tend to short out and malfunction when around strong sources of magic.

Especially in a place like Hogwarts, where magical energy was densely concentrated.

So using advanced technology in Hogwarts was no easy feat. Especially anything electronic.

"Got it! Give me two days. Let's meet here at noon."

Gundam Renzo agreed easily.

This wasn't difficult for him.

"Make it nighttime instead."

Hermione shook her head.

"I might not have free time during the day. You guys know how it is—I'm still a student, and my schedule isn't exactly flexible. Sometimes, I really envy you guys for not having to deal with school!"
