The room was brightly lit, Elisa stood before the mirror, transfixed by the sight of her own reflection, her sinister and alluring version looked indefferent and cold, one that made Rosemary's heart race with both fear and curiosity.
"Ha-ha-ha…" The laughter echoed in the room, each sound an echo sent achile down Rosemary's spine.
"I am you, and you are me. But I am a better version of us." She paused then continued. "As for what l want, is myself without you."
Rosemary inside the mirror, was so confused, she didn't know what was going on. Her eyes were wide open yet she searched for what to say but was blank.
She felt like she's trapped in a dream and yearns to wake up yet she can't. She took a deep breath, then gathered courage and said.
"I don't know who you are, but just let me go."
Actually, They were two sides of the same coin, one gentle and afraid, the other devilishly confident and evil. But now, face to face, the distinction felt grotesquely blurry
