Hidden behind the thick bushes, Hu Mei'er shifted slightly against Nie Yong, her cheeks flushed redder than ever.
"Yong'er..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "Can you... move your hand from there?"
"Huh?" Nie Yong blinked, whispering back as he looked down—
His hand was firmly cupping her breast, his thumb grazing across her sensitive nipple.
"You're touching my nipple... I don't know how much longer I can resist..." Hu Mei'er murmured, her thighs rubbing together unconsciously.
"Ah, sorry, Mei'er... I'll move it," Nie Yong whispered hastily.
But in his rush to pull his hand away, he brushed her even more roughly than he intended, sending an electric jolt of pleasure through her body.
"Ahn~" Hu Mei'er couldn't hold back a soft moan.
The sound echoed through the quiet forest.
Both Storm Manor disciples froze, their conversation cut short. Their faces twisted awkwardly, caught between confusion and embarrassment.
"W-Who's there?!" Nu Tao called out nervously, scanning the trees around them.
Nie Yong sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Stay here, Mei'er," he whispered gently.
He was about to step out when he felt a tug at his robes—Hu Mei'er clutching him tightly, her eyes wide with worry.
"Yong'er... please don't go..." she pleaded in a low voice. "It's dangerous... those two, they're both Initial Element cultivators. And that Chang Xiu... he's at the peak of Initial Element realm... I know you're strong, but—"
Nie Yong just smiled, a confident, almost lazy charm lighting up his features. "Don't worry, Mei'er. Those weaklings won't even be able to touch me."
Hu Mei'er bit her lip, her heart thudding painfully as she watched him walk away, his back straight and unshakable.
Nie Yong stepped into the open, hands tucked casually into his sleeves, facing the two startled Storm Manor disciples.
"Hey, you two were looking for me, right?" he said lightly, as if greeting old friends.
Chang Xiu's face twisted into a mask of hatred. "Nie Yong!"
Both of them immediately charged at him, their killing intent flaring.
"Yin Blade."
"Yang Blade."
Nie Yong muttered, and with a low hum, two shimmering Qi blades formed in his hands—one as black as night, the other blazing orange like the noon sun.
Chang Xiu roared, drawing his sword in a flash of lightning.
"Thunder Howling Sword Style—Storm Slash!"
Violet arcs of electricity crackled around his blade as he slashed toward Nie Yong with lethal speed.
Beside him, Nu Tao thrust his palms forward, his hands wrapped in fierce violet Qi.
"Eagle Strike!"
Nie Yong watched their approach calmly, his eyes sharp and indifferent.
'Weak,' he thought dismissively.
As they closed in, Nie Yong simply swung both of his Qi blades in a smooth, almost casual motion.
Two flashes of light—one black, one orange—cut through the air.
A heartbeat later, two heads hit the ground with a dull thud, blood spraying in twin fountains from their necks.
Their bodies staggered for a moment before collapsing onto the dirt.
Nie Yong stood there, completely unscathed, the Qi blades fading from his hands like mist in the wind.
Behind the bushes, Hu Mei'er clutched her chest, her breath caught in her throat.
"Yong'er..." she whispered, her heart pounding not from fear—but from awe. "You're so strong..."
Nie Yong walked lazily toward the two corpses lying on the ground.
He tapped Cheng Xiu's body with the tip of his foot.
"Copy."
[Copying in progress…]
[You have acquired Sword Talent (High)!]
[Two identical talents detected!]
[Merging...]
[Merge successful!]
[You have acquired Sword Talent (Heavenly)!]
Nie Yong chuckled. "He was as talented as his little brother..."
Strangely, he didn't feel anything—not guilt, not remorse.
He had never killed anyone before.
He came from the modern world, yet now, after taking two lives... he felt nothing. It was as if the corpses lying there were no different from broken dolls.
"Hm."
He turned to Nu Tao's corpse, tapping it lightly with his foot.
"Copy."
[Copying in progress…]
[You have acquired the martial skill, Eagle Strike!]
Nie Yong raised an eyebrow.
"Only a martial skill?" he muttered.
Then he thought back. "Now that I think about it... Cheng Xiu didn't give me a Secret Art either. Is it because I already have one? The one I copied from Cheng Shao Feng? So, the Storm Manor disciples all cultivate the same Secret Art?"
As he pondered, a familiar, soft voice called out behind him.
"Yong'er..."
Hu Mei'er pressed against his back, her arms wrapping around his waist, her full breasts squishing against him.
"You were awesome... how did you get so strong?" she whispered.
Nie Yong smiled slyly, turning his head slightly and stealing a kiss from her soft lips.
"It's a secret," he said playfully.
Then, with a wave of his hand, green phantom flames surged to life.
"Why are you burning them?" Hu Mei'er asked, tilting her head cutely.
"I don't want the Storm Manor to come bothering me again. It's better to erase any evidence linking me to this," Nie Yong said calmly, watching the eerie flames consume the corpses until not even ash remained.
Hu Mei'er hugged him tighter for a moment, then hesitated.
"Yong'er... it's getting late..." she said softly. "My older sister will start worrying if I don't come back soon..."
"Want me to accompany you home?" Nie Yong offered.
"I'd like to... but it's better not," Hu Mei'er said sheepishly, fiddling with the hem of her clothes.
"Why?"
"Because my sister would probably kill you," she said in a small voice. "Ehm... I told her about us, and she said you were a shitty womanizer just using me for pleasure... She also said that if she ever meets you, she'll kill you with her own hands, so..." Hu Mei'er trailed off, her cheeks burning.
Nie Yong blinked.
"Okay then," he said, laughing lightly.
He planted another kiss on her lips.
"And don't worry... I'm not using you."
Hu Mei'er beamed at him, her heart full, before bolting away with a spring in her step.
Nie Yong watched her disappear between the trees, hands behind his head.
"Ah, man... that Hu Jiao'er..." he sighed, shaking his head. "Is she really gonna kill me if she meets me...? I kinda wanted to do the sandwich with the two sisters..."
He chuckled to himself, the forest around him silent once more.
To be continued...

How was this chapter? Liked it?
Also, soon the sixth elder of the High Heaven Pavilion will make her appearance again, I thought of keeping Kushina's appearance like before, but making her name fit Martial Peak's settings, what do you think? (For who doesn't remember, in the original fanfiction, I added another elder called Kushina Uzumaki with said character's appearance obviously, but a japanese name kinda stood out)
