Chapter 95 - Lina The Plant Master

That fact alone was enough to make Pride feel a cold sense of dread beneath his fury. If Wrath and Envy's deaths had shaken his confidence, then Greed and Gluttony's annihilation had cemented his resolve. He could no longer afford to underestimate Larry. No matter how much he despised the thought, he had to get stronger—no matter the cost.

That's why he had ordered Sloth and Lust to remain where they were, working under the Ten Dons for experimental purposes. If Pride could achieve the power promised to him, he would secure a seat among the Ten Dons themselves. And when that happened— The Seven Deadly Sins would have their revenge. No matter how long it took. No matter what sacrifices had to be made.

A few days after parting with Gon and Killua, Larry prepared for his next fight. This time, his opponent was the Floor Master of the 246th Floor— Lina, the Plant Queen.

By now, Larry's reputation had skyrocketed. After two dominant victories against Floor Masters, the audience was no longer questioning his abilities. They were anticipating his rise to the topmost floors. Every ticket to his fights sold out instantly. The stands, already crowded before, were now completely packed with spectators eager to witness his next battle.

Among them, a few familiar faces sat quietly, waiting for the fight to begin. Biscuit sat in the front rows, her wine-red eyes flickering with interest. She had seen Larry's abilities firsthand, but there was always the chance that he would reveal something new. She couldn't wait to see what surprises he had in store. Her thoughts drifted as a familiar conversation reached her ears

"Mr. Wing, you're really strong! Your master must be incredible too!" Gon's curious voice carried through the stadium.

Wing let out a humble chuckle, scratching his nose in slight embarrassment. "Hahaha, well, my master is truly amazing." To be honest, I don't have much talent myself. I don't even dare call myself her disciple when I go out." Despite his smart, intellectual appearance, Wing always had a slightly disheveled air about him.

Alongside him, Gon, Killua, and Zushi sat, having come to watch Larry's match up close. Coincidentally—They had taken seats directly behind Biscuit. Their conversation caught her attention, but it wasn't until Killua spoke that everything unraveled. "She?" The difference in pronoun immediately struck him. "Mr. Wing, your master is a woman?" Killua's mind raced for a moment before a smirk crossed his lips. "Wow, she must be pretty old by now, huh? Maybe she's an old lady."

Before Wing could even react— A small figure suddenly stood up from the row in front of them. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN OLD WOMAN?!"

WHACK!

In an instant, both Gon and Killua received a powerful headbutt from a furious Biscuit. Killua clutched his head, wincing in pain. "Ow! What the hell?! Why are you hitting people out of nowhere?!" His eyes glowed with mild hostility as he glared at Biscuit.

Meanwhile, Gon—who had said nothing—also rubbed the growing lump on his forehead, his eyes watering slightly. "But… I didn't even say anything… Why did I get hit too?" His voice was pitiful, but Biscuit was completely unbothered.

She crossed her arms and huffed in irritation. "Your friend here just said something that NO ONE should ever say."

Just as Killua was about to snap back at her, Wing let out a nervous laugh. "Ahaha… Master… so you were here too."

Killua and Gon froze. "Wait…" They turned to stare at Wing. Then, their eyes slowly drifted back to the furious little girl standing before them. Biscuit's expression was livid, her tiny fists still clenched. And that's when it hit them. "SHE'S YOUR MASTER?!" Killua and Gon's mouths dropped open.

Wing sighed. "Yeah… This is my master. Her name is Biscuit Krueger."

Killua's brain short-circuited. This tiny, angry little girl… was actually the master of a powerful Nen user? He squinted. "No way. You're messing with us, right?"

Biscuit's eyebrow twitched. "Are you doubting me?" The air grew heavy. Both Gon and Killua felt their instincts scream at them.

Killua, who had spent his entire life sensing danger, immediately tensed up. "Uh… n-no. No doubts at all."

Gon, on the other hand, just grinned. "Wow! That's so cool!"

Biscuit blinked. For a moment, she had expected resistance—especially from Killua.

But Gon? His genuine excitement caught her completely off guard. "I wanna see how strong you are!"

Wing's face paled. "Gon, NO—"

But it was too late. Biscuit's lips curled into a devious smile. She cracked her knuckles. "Oh, you'll see, alright."

After some light conversation, both sides quickly realized something They all knew Larry. And just like that, the tense atmosphere shifted.

Meanwhile, Elsewhere… Inside a dimly lit arena passageway, Larry sat with his eyes closed, seemingly at rest. But then, a small smirk curled at the corner of his lips. His Nen perception had picked up everything— Killua had managed to anger Biscuit. And now, the two kids were shocked speechless. Larry let out a small sigh of amusement. "As expected, Transmutation users always clash easily."

There was a saying back on the forum—Since Transmutation-types were known for being moody and prone to lying, they often clashed with others of their own kind. Hence, they preferred the simple-minded, straightforward Reinforcement types. Killua was a perfect example of this. Gon, his best friend, was a Reinforcement user.

Meanwhile, in the original timeline, Gon's interactions with Biscuit often led to her getting mad. Some things never changed.

"The match begins!" The announcer's voice echoed across the packed stadium, but Larry barely paid attention to the opening speech. The crowd, eagerly waiting, erupted in cheers as both fighters stepped onto the stage.

Lina, the Plant Queen. That was the title of the 246th Floor Master. The moment Larry saw her, his mind clicked— 'A Nen user specializing in plants.'

Lina was a tall, elegant girl with long, dark green hair, flowing behind her like the vines of an ancient forest. She wore a strangely patterned robe, its designs resembling intertwining leaves and floral motifs. The lower half of her face was covered by a veil, but even with most of her features hidden, there was no doubt— She was beautiful. But what stood out the most— Her eyes. A pair of intelligent, emerald-green pupils, gleaming with a calm, gentle temperament.

Yet, despite her serene aura, Larry could tell She was strong.
