Chapter 106 - Another tormenting dream

The king smiled bitterly when he heard this. The seer had already said it was hopeless. Nothing could stand against heaven's wrath.

"I know my body best, and I can tell that I am nearing my end," he said.

Of course, he did not want to die, but he had thought about it. If he does not make arrangements earlier, he might have made so many sacrifices only to die early for another to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

The queen looked at the king and did not know how to respond. After all, he had stated it so clearly.

"I want to make preparations. Our sons are not in the royal city, and anyone can make a move after my sudden death. Moreover, someone is behind my poisoning. I am worried that he might eliminate the mole he used before we find them. If an antidote is not made in time, I will definitely die," the king said. He sounded as though he truly believed he had been poisoned.
