Then, as if to distract me, his high-backed chair swiveled effortlessly, and his hand deftly caught my arm—still draped around his neck—pulling me toward him.
"Wait—" I barely had time to protest before dizziness overtook me. His cool breath brushed against my lips, sending shivers down my spine. It was just a fleeting touch, yet enough to unravel me completely.
