Chapter 87 - The Price Of Peace

Today we are starting the Chunin Exams it will be fun.

The moonlight carved pale streaks across the misty forest as Raven Kamizuki stood with Mikoto Uchiha, their forms partially hidden beneath the veil of shadows.

The battle on the bridge was over, but the true victory—the foundation of something far greater—was only beginning.

The soft crunch of footsteps on damp earth signaled Zabuza Momochi's arrival, with Haku walking beside him, her mask now tucked away, revealing her gentle yet steeled expression.

Behind them, dragged like a sack of rotting potatoes, was Gato—bloodied, gagged, and bound. His eyes darted between his captors and the two women before him, his arrogance shattered and replaced by fear.

Zabuza stopped before Raven, his grip still tight on Kubikiribōchō, though his body radiated exhaustion.

"This is him," Zabuza said simply, his voice hoarse but steady.

"I've brought you Gato."

Raven's violet eyes gleamed, her lips curling into a slow smirk.

"Welcome to your new life, Gato. I hope you enjoy doing dishes."

Gato blinked in confusion, then scowled behind his gag.

Mikoto stepped forward, her Yuri Eyes faintly glowing, examining Gato like one would inspect spoiled produce.

"You brought him alive," Mikoto said, impressed.

"I expected you to carve him into pieces."

Zabuza shrugged, though there was a trace of amusement in his eyes.

"I thought about it. But… your girl made a compelling argument."

Raven chuckled, exchanging a knowing look with Haku, who offered a small, grateful nod.

Zabuza's tone shifted—lower, more sincere.

"I'm done running. I've bled enough for fools like him.

I want a place where we can stop looking over our shoulders."

He glanced at Haku, his gaze softer than any had likely seen before.

"She deserves that."

Raven's smirk softened into something more genuine.

"You'll have it."

Raven raised a hand, her tone calm but authoritative.

"Zabuza, you'll settle in the coastal sub-village under our banner. It's a place for men—warriors, workers—those who support the main village.

You'll train our soldiers, guard our borders. You'll fight when called upon.

But more importantly… you'll have peace."

Zabuza gave a short nod. "Fair."

Raven turned to Haku, her expression gentler.

"Haku, you'll live in Uzu no Sato, the main village. You'll train with our kunoichi—become stronger, but not just as a tool.

You'll find your place among sisters. You'll find who you are."

Haku's eyes shimmered briefly, but she composed herself with a bow.

"Thank you."

Mikoto crossed her arms, smirking.

"You're getting the better deal, Haku. Trust me, the Free Love Revolution treats its sisters well."

Raven shot Mikoto a playful side glance, but Zabuza's face remained stoic, though relief flickered behind his gruff exterior.

As the business tone settled, Raven shifted her gaze to Gato, who had been trying to slither away unnoticed.

"Oh no, you stay right there, grease stain," Raven said, her voice dripping with amusement and menace.

Gato muffled a protest through his gag, his beady eyes wide with confusion and fear.

Raven knelt beside him, her voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper, though everyone could hear.

"You see, Gato, I thought about killing you. Quick. Clean.

But then… I realized something."

She leaned closer, her grin widening.

"You're going to spend the rest of your life funding my revolution."

Mikoto raised an eyebrow, but her smirk returned as she realized where this was going.

Raven continued, enjoying every second.

"Your smuggling routes? Your bribes? Your blackmail contacts?

They're all mine now.

You'll work for me—whether you like it or not."

Gato's eyes widened in horror, but before he could dwell on it, Raven's grin twisted further.

"Oh, and one more thing… You'll also be doing dishes.

For life."

Gato's muffled scream was more pathetic than defiant.

"I'm opening a global chain of pizza restaurants," Raven declared proudly.

"Every nation. Every city. And guess what?

All the dishwashers will be reformed criminals like you—paying back society, one greasy plate at a time."

Yuumi's voice echoed in Raven's mind, cackling with glee.

**"Oh, this is glorious. Patron Saint of Dishwashers, here he comes."**

Mikoto laughed outright.

"I love it."

Zabuza smirked despite himself.

"Fitting."

Raven stood, folding her arms.

"Welcome to the revolution, Gato.

You'll fund it… and scrub its plates."

Zabuza extended his hand—rough, scarred, but steady.

Raven took it, shaking firmly.

"It's done," Zabuza said.

"It's begun," Raven corrected.

Haku smiled—a genuine one—for the first time in years.

Mikoto watched them all, her Yuri Eyes glowing softly, sensing the surge of faith.

Another victory. Another step toward godhood.

As the mist swirled around them, Zabuza and Haku disappeared into it, guided toward their new home.

Gato, still bound, was dragged along, muttering curses through his gag.

Raven and Mikoto stood side by side, watching them go.

"This is how it begins," Raven said quietly.

"Not with grand wars… but with small victories."

Mikoto's hand brushed against Raven's lightly, their fingers intertwining for a moment.

"And when we stand at the top," Mikoto whispered,

"I'll remind you that it started with a dishwasher."

Raven laughed.

"I'll put it on his plaque."
