The next moment, Carlos disappeared and appeared before Gabriel in an instant, almost as if he had blinked in and out.
Gabriel's face paled.
And then the sky shattered, followed by a deafening thunderclap.
"You think you can outsmart me?"
Gabriel stared at Carlos, his eyes wide in horror.
Only a simple movement from Carlos, and space seemed to stretch out endlessly, making it difficult for Gabriel to reach his destination.
Technically, Gabriel planned to reach the edge of the throne hall and implant the ancient gemstone into the engraving just so he could activate the sealing array.
However one move from Carlos and spatial cracks spread dramatically, widening the distance between Gabriel and that stone-edge engraving.
Ragon immediately turned to Ezekiel.
"Whatever you do, do not let him destroy the palace or I cease to be king, and once that happens, I'll take you all with me to the underworld, your brothers too." Ragon snarled and Ezekiel's eyes flashed.
