Grrrrrrrr
Mila groaned, turning her head to the side. She opened her eyes and closed them again. Then she yawned, pushing her pillow between her legs. Mila's sleepy eyes caught a glimpse of Zyran standing up from his bed to turn off his alarm.
She was half asleep, but she saw Zyran enter the bathroom, wash his face, and return wearing sweatpants and tying his shoes.
"Hello, Holly," Zyran's rough morning voice rasped as he picked up his cat from the edge of the bed and kissed it before dropping the cat back on the ground.
Mila groaned, she opened her eyes, trying to stay awake, but the sleep was too heavy. Yet before she slept off again, she saw the time on her phone. It was four in the morning. Mila drifted back to sleep when she heard Zyran leave after closing the door.
The next time Mila opened her eyes, her phone showed the time to be seven in the morning. Zyran entered the room covered in sweat, he picked up his cat and kissed it again before going to wash up.
