The information was fresh so we had to take advantage of it. I was hoping to rest, as I was starting to feel tired and the need to sleep and eat began to put weight on my body, but this took precedence. We made our way towards the castle in the middle of the night.
"We cannot take on Balor. We are not as strong as he is with his party," Violet said while we were walking.
I was getting tired of being on the losing side with these people. I was sure we could take on Balor by himself, but as long as Masaki was with him, a threat to our plans, we could not use any direct attack.
If it were possible, I would have ended this tonight. But many unexpected variables were causing us to keep in the shadows and not stick our heads out unless necessary.
We were vermin at this point. Annoying ants and rats that barely posed a danger to them. I hate being this weak.
