Dara was still trying to process everything that just appeared in front of her, but it did not take her too long to come to an easy and convenient realization. It was all a benefit for us. Having a boss-like ally that commanded the wolf population in the vicinity was quite the boon to have when you wanted to control land like a forest.
"It is quite impressive what you have achieved in the last few days, Marcel. Although it sounds like you had a string of good luck" Dara said while keeping her gaze on Violet.
"I say it is luck" I answered, half of the time I did not know what I was doing, anyway.
"Don't negate what he has accomplished!" Violet answered.
"The boy has some skill" Mae added "It is unfair to say it was blind luck"
My face went red because of the compliments and defenses of my achievements. I don't feel comfortable receiving them, even less when I do feel I got lucky.
