Nova kept on pushing forward, not wanting to give up after giving her hope, and she kept her gaze fixed on him, and her eyes narrowed as his eyes began glowing slightly, and he glanced at her and she gave him a subtle nod.
After a little while, another chain snapped, and Nova could feel the energy from him being drained, but he did not care, and he pushed himself further, to the point his entire body began glowing, and the others exchanged glances, knowing that was not always a good thing.
She looked at him and he coughed up a bit of blood, and her brows furrowed.
"Do not push yourself too much." She muttered and they looked at him, then at her, wondering if they should intervene or not.
He smiled a bit as he imbued more energy into the last chain, which seemed to be the hardest of them all to break and his eyes glowed brighter as the entire chamber began rumbling and some of the nearby pillars began falling apart, crashing into the ground with a loud thud.
