Seiya's voice was calm, but undoubtedly dripping with edge. He stood firm by the door, rigid as he gazed straight at the commander's direction.
Shock bloomed within them all, spreading like frost through their limbs and rooting them in place—even the commander, who was well aware of Seiya's presence in the room was frozen. He was numb and speechless at the way Seiya casually burst out, nonchalantly giving away his presence—which to the commander seemed no short of foolishness.
The killer before the commander that was aiming to deal the final blow, was too shocked to even react. One, by the fact that someone other than the commander was in his chambers. And two, by the fact that he hadn't at all sensed Seiya's presence.
This to him felt too strange, because he was at a level high enough to sense even the faintest of presence. Then why? Perhaps because the boy standing at the door was a mere citizen, one without any presence?
