Li Mo watched with wide eyes as Fu Shihan left, taking her precious grandson with him. If she weren't confined to a wheelchair, inconveniently immobilized by her legs, she would have chased after him to give him a piece of her mind!
In the dining room, Fu Shili watched from a distance the scene unfolding in the living room, a flicker of amusement in his eyes.
He walked over to Li Mo and handed her the glass of water in his hand.
"Take a sip of water, calm down a bit."
"Do you want to anger me to death, is that it?"
Li Mo glared at him and took a big gulp from the glass.
"You know full well how stubborn my brother is. Clashing head-on with him benefits no one. If he says you can't see Su Wanxin, then you won't get to see her."
As Fu Shili said this, he glanced at the troubled butler who was at a loss as to what to do, and gave him a meaningful look.
"Uncle Qi, you can go back to your room to rest. You're off the hook for now."
"Eh, alright!"
