Helena relayed the words to Vincent on the phone, "I think he left his phone in the other room, Brother Vincent. Do you want to talk to him?"
Vincent said something and Helena nodded, "Okay, Brother Vincent. I will tell him. You please stay strong. We will reach there as soon as we can."
She hung up on the phone and looked at Vernon with a frown.
Vernon's chest tightened. He was scared.
He walked back to her bed and asked her, "What happened? What was Brother telling you?"
"Vernon, Brother Vincent said that…" She couldn't finish her sentence as he looked at him in worry.
"What did he say?" He couldn't wait and asked her again.
"He said…" Helena took a deep breath and finished her sentence, "He said that someone kidnapped…"
Before she could finish her sentence he interrupted, "Kidnapped? My brother said kidnapped? Who? Is it my sister-in-law? How did it happen?"
"What? No!" Helena saw that he was behaving frantically and stopped him immediately.
