Chapter 121 - The Edge of Control (R18)

I turned to the right, and saw Cassandra looking at us with a pained expression. She resembled a puppy abandoned by its owner, staring with pleading eyes, silently begging for attention.

I looked straight into her gaze, searching for clarity in her wavering expression, and sighed.

"Cassandra, I already gave you my answer. My mind won't change," I said, my tone laced with firm conviction. "You can either gracefully leave the room, stay there and watch, or join in. Your call."

"I... I..."

She hesitated, clearly torn and unable to reach a decision right away.

That fiery edge she had earlier—borderline aggression—completely melted away after being "refused" once. As expected, she's still young… inexperienced in more ways than one.

Thinking she'd need some time to reach a decision, I turned my attention back to the bitch lying in front of me. Eva.

Her eyes glistened with moisture, and her lips were pressed into a sharp frown.
