As Rafayel turned toward him, the man simply stated in a monotone voice, "Lenande Valmafra. I use light magic. I'm the school's physician."
And that was it.

Rafayel found himself staring at the man, baffled by the extreme brevity of his introduction.
"Rafayel!"
His brother's voice suddenly snapped him out of it.
Turning toward Thomas, Rafayel saw that his older brother was frowning.
Wait… Is he upset because he was staring at Professor Lenande?
Brother, please don't get jealous over something like that!
Sensing the tension in the air, the director quickly intervened.
"Well, now that the introductions are over," he said, smiling at Rafayel, "I know managing your abilities might be difficult, but we'll be here to support you. More importantly, make lots of friends and enjoy your time at the academy."
"Yes…"
Rafayel responded, though his voice lacked energy.
His thoughts were still occupied with his older brother.
