On the road leading to Zhenwu Mountain, an old man riding backwards on a donkey held a wine gourd, occasionally taking a sip with relish.
Suddenly, he turned the wine gourd upside down, but not a drop of wine came out.
Regretfully smacking his lips, he patted the donkey which then trotted up the mountain with small, quick steps, unobstructed; all the disciples of Zhenwu Temple seemed as if they did not see it at all.
In the end, the old man riding backwards on the donkey arrived at the Zhenwu Hall.
At that time, inside the hall, several of Zhenwu Temple's top brass were discussing important matters.
When the donkey clippity-clopped its way into the hall, everyone was pleasantly surprised and hurried to their feet to greet him: "Greetings, Ancestor Master."
