Chapter 130 - Cake, Tour and NEWS FLASH!

Cake was everywhere within the street. White, pink, green and a multitude of other colours plastered every part of the road, the buildings and funnily enough the people. Naturally I had dodged all of the cake but my companions seemed unable to actually slip away from the barrage of delectable treats.

Sirius instinctively used Protego to try and salvage the situation, his face dripping with the creamy centre of the lava cake that currently slid down his clothes in chunks whilst the vast majority lay in a steaming pile below. Sadly Protego wasn't the answer to this equation, especially for an arithmetic designed by Yuna Uzumaki.

Light pooled around his shield before the very nature around him shifted slightly, dropping his concentration for just a second too long... And with a sickly PLOP the newly manifested cheesecake hit him square in the nuts. He instantly doubled over as Harry tried wiping chocolate cake from his glasses and eyes, his lightning bolt tattoo being the only thing that was spared. Hermione and her parents were also lathered in the sticky, gloopy and delicious mixtures of different cakes.

Artoria was untouched which naturally drew the focus and ire of the mischievous Yuna who flung 200 more cakes her direction. It ended in failure each time however as the apocalyptic energy swirling around my lovely, adorable, wife consumed them and quite literally turned them into atoms. My Yuna, was grinning widely whilst she scanned the nascent goddess, the chaos bringing her extreme comfort; if her emotional aura was anything to go off of.

"Puah!" Sirius took his cake-slickened wand and hovered it over his body, all of the refuse shooting off of him and into a volleyball-sized clump in the air before him. "HAH! That was a great prank...! Reminds me of the nonsense me, Prongs and Moony got up to." The Ice goddess herself was beaming happily whilst giving me and Artoria the stink eye. We were the eternal targets it seems and that wouldn't stop anytime soon. She was certainly a handful, especially since she had been hitting on some of the X-men and even some of the Uchiha girls.

"Ah-um Sirius, could you help me?" Harry turned to his godfather who was now cackling, close to falling over at the cake-smattered appearance of Harry. "Ha-hh-ha, you look, like a snowman!!! HAHAHAHA," The Ice goddess grinned happily at the man's reaction whilst Hermione quickly cleaned off her parents and herself, "Y-you've got some great help, Freya... Hahaha." Harry sent a tickling hex over towards Sirius, the man sidestepping it before haphazardly cleaning the cake off of him.

Rolling my eyes I turned to the two Yunas who were having a hushed talk, their friendship in full effect as things began settling down. 'Now that, that, is over...' My thought cut short as I watched Naruto emerge from nearby, trying to ambush me with a cake as in the background Yuna wickedly smirked. Boy was I tired of this.

Languidly shifting my eyes over to the young Uzumaki I simply rose my index finger, a single word leaving my mouth as the cake disappeared and re-emerged somewhere else. "Aport" . Space shifted powerfully before warping the said 'weapon' of my 'enemy'... A wet slopping noise echoed out as the cake landed in the face of Naruto, the boy sputtering as he tried balancing on his toes to maintain balance, failing within seconds and tumbling straight into the concrete below.

Immediately after he failed, the immature, but still intimidating, voice of Yuna Uzumaki softly reached out... "We'll get you next time. Come on little brother, we've got training to do..." She turned to walk away but looked back, over her shoulder. "Oh, Freya, I need to tell you to stop Hela trying to kill me." Before I could ask more questions she ran away, her brother wiping away his failure whilst following behind her.

"Fuck sakes," I rubbed my temples as a minor headache sought to intrude upon my brain, "Artoria could you please check in with her mother and make sure that she is monitored more often?" She nodded before a small smile slithered into her expression.

"So... Party?" Sirius asked it so innocently but it just made me internally groan.

"Definitely."

...

The rest of the day passed easily as I gave them a tour of the city. From bars such as the Krakatoa to the delights of Ice Cream parlours and other private business, we explored everything. Sirius was introduced to the red-light district as Artoria split the group away to facilitate that conversation, her own group focussing on some of the displays of mutant powers that were prevalent throughout the city.

Hermione's parents were slightly gobsmacked over how common the superpowers that had only been spoken about within newspapers was here. Hermione had to guide them around most of the time, whilst asking hundreds of questions to my Yuna and Artoria. Harry was more inquisitive than in the movies, his wand constantly coming out and trying to replicate some of the random mutants' abilities. So far he'd had mixed results but no doubt after learning Arithmancy and Runes he'd be capable of making his own spells.

After regrouping, Sirius and I had wrapped up our discussion about the 'tone' of the city's seedier districts, I teleported us all to my penthouse apartment in the tallest skyscraper in the city. From there I spent a little over 1000 points setting up all of the food, drinks and decorations whilst sending Muninn off to bring Hela and Susan.

It was fun to just relax a little and let the drama and seriousness of life subside somewhat.

Susan and Hela quickly joined us, the former in a comfortable summer dress adorned with bright blue flowers, the latter in a stretchy black shirt and long denim trousers. Hela's eye-shadow accentuated the pale tone of her skin, giving her an almost ethereal look. The moonlight streaming through the apartment windows only heightened the effect. Susan, on the other hand, had chosen to go without make-up, a choice I found far more appealing, as I'd always preferred natural beauty to something artificial.

Drawing them both in for hugs, I kissed Susan and sent a wink to Hela, a smile tugging at her lips as she shook her head. The gesture was clearly born of her social awkwardness, a lingering trait from spending eons trapped in a literal Hell-dimension.

The rest of the party went smoothly, with most of the adults enjoying a few bottles of champagne to celebrate the end of the school year. Harry and Hermione were deep in debate over Arithmancy and the possibility of crafting their own spells, much to Sirius's frustration, who kept shooting them exasperated looks. Their academic fervour only dimmed when plates of food were finally set before them.

The spread was a vibrant mix of British, Australian, American, and European cuisine. Burgers shared space with platters of shepherd's pie. Bratwurst rested beside finely buttered croissants, while thick-cut Australian beef was paired with creamy mashed potatoes and diced carrots. It was a mouth-watering sight, and judging by the satisfied murmurs around the table, I wasn't the only one who thought so.

Excited conversation carried on through dinner, with topics shifting like the tides. Hermione's 'Muggle' family proved far more talkative than some might've expected, eagerly joining in with insightful comments and anecdotes. To everyone's surprise, especially Sirius's delight, they turned out to be massive Superman fans. That revelation sparked an entire discussion, leaping from superheroes to mutants and the nature of their powers.

Harry and Hermione exchanged mildly concerned looks as the conversation touched on abilities that rivalled, or even surpassed, magic. For a moment, the idea that magic might not be the ultimate power seemed to unsettle them. But Sirius quickly eased their worries, reminding them with a smirk that the Wizarding World hadn't even begun to show its full hand. I shook my head at his coy expression whilst nursing a glass of whiskey.

Susan was talking with Hermione and her parents, the adults bonding over work and the difficulties of deal with clients. The young girl was interested in my wife's power to just go invisible as Sirius and Harry discussed runes with Hela, who was Asgardian and was indubitably taught Elder Futhark and the original Nordic Language, Sieg Runes or as they were more accurately translated, Power Runes.

I found myself chatting with Artoria and Yuna, both of whom were eating with almost ravenous enthusiasm. Between bites, Yuna started nudging me for something new, asking if I could track down magical creatures for her to scan. Honestly, I couldn't say no. Her request lined up perfectly with my own ambition to revive many of the so-called 'extinct' magical species.

She let out a joyful squeal when I agreed, then pulled me into a deep kiss, her tongue dancing with mine for several lingering moments before she finally eased back. Her eyes flicked toward Artoria, who sat nearby with quiet poise, sipping tea in a relaxed Japanese sitting position, despite the Western-style chair beneath her. Without a word, she reached over and tapped Artoria on the shoulder.

I could only sigh in exasperation, already knowing where this was going.

And, as expected, the situation unfolded just as I'd predicted. The party gradually settled into a comfortable lull, the food had been devoured, and conversation dwindled as drowsiness crept in across the room. Harry and Hermione still seemed full of energy, but they eventually followed their family deeper into the apartment. I'd already shown them their rooms earlier, back before dinner had even begun.

Before long, I found myself being pulled toward my room by three eager women, their energy as intense as ever. From there the rest of the evening blurred into a haze of passion and affection, as we shared a quiet, intimate moment away from the world outside.

...

The next morning I found myself sitting at my desk, the game creation system murmuring its information through thousands of lines of code. A cup of coffee graced my hands as the warmth seeped into my cold hands. Every now and then i would take a sip whilst I tried to comprehend just how many points I had gained within a singular week of gaining points from other planets...

I'd gained so much points, yet the costs were ever expanding. Complaining was nonsensical however as each option was awesome and were no doubt making me stronger. The buildings were lacklustre, but could be used effectively to stabilize the power issue in Australia, allow me to summon a bunch of magical creatures; breeding them back into replaceable numbers and make my own version of Hogwarts here in Australia.

Flickering the screen over to my Empire Management panel I quickly watched the economic value of Australia explode upwards. The GDP, the worth of everything in Australia, the untapped wealth based upon the understanding of everyone inside the country... It was immense. Australia wasn't just economically powerful it was resource rich.

Coal wouldn't run out even if it were to be mined at current rates for the next several hundred, possibly even thousand, years. Uranium was abundant in comparison to several other continents and that wasn't even mentioning our gold reserves and the other types of materials that could be present without us even knowing. Honestly, I chose the best continent to make my base on... It would be easy to create entire droid armies or even just create consumer goods. The politicians were squandering it previously, the same mistake would not be copied by me.

A map of Australia showed on the panel, giving me an almost omniscient view of all of Australia. Toying with it somewhat I could destroy a building with a touch of my finger, this part of my system being true to its game moniker, by making it like an RTS game. I also found a building list from which I could pull from and place... Though I noted that it lacked a lot of schematics and diversity due to the singular country the system was currently tied to.

Refocussing on the daily specials I decided to buy them all, quickly burning through roughly half of my points in a single instant.

I bought the Chakra affinity four times with the intention of taking one for myself, giving one to Yuna, buffing Itachi and the last would go to Naori Uchiha who had been protecting Yggdrasil Interactive's HQ whilst I've been gallivanting around. I quickly named who they were for and watched as those affinities burned away from within my inventory, my senses sharpening as natural chakra began seeping into me from every direction.

Using my Empire Management function I summoned Hinata right next to Yuna Uzumaki, the Ice Queen, whilst sending my Patronus to explain where she was, what was happening, etc...

The materials I purchased, I left alone. There wasn't a need for them yet given that the Obscurial had yet to be found Huginn.

Finally the advanced knowledge of this Universe punctured my mind in but a second and spread from there. I now felt, knew, understood, that this was a universe manufactured by the Infinity stones by entities beyond space-time, OAA. But that was beside the point, the main thing I was concerned with was being around my power level... Which there were hundreds, even thousands. Mephisto was much more powerful than me and he was currently doing some dastardly things that I couldn't get a full read on.

The most surprising bit of information to me though was the existence of what was informally known as 'The Illuminati'. It was the Kabal of corrupt fuckers who had shot me out of the sky, who had targeted me and my wives and who were currently trying to find a relic or artefact known as the Dark Hold. They were rivals with another group called the Hellfire club and had previously been at odds with Vandal Savage before I erased him. The person who ran the Illuminati was, Lex Luther...

"Okay... What the fuck?"
