Chapter 281 - The Privilege of Vengeance

Zaroth was not the kind of man who feared acknowledging another's strength. He stood at a meter and seventy centimeters, while his opponent's was two meters. Zaroth had a good amount of muscle and was pretty lean, while Hugo looked like a carved statue with all the muscle he had. If going by ratio, Hugo had about two times the muscle mass of Zaroth.

There was no denying that Hugo had the upper hand in raw strength, and that was precisely why Zaroth wanted to fight him.

It was a good practice to fight a stronger opponents one-on-one from time to time; this duel, if one could call it that, was going to push Zaroth's odachi skills to their limits.

Hugo was far from being at his best. He had lost a significant amount of blood, and the little that remained was tainted by Hellweaver venom. He was much weaker than he had been at his peak, yet Zaroth knew that his own physical strength was still no match for Hugo's.
