Even until the end, no attack happens in the Guild Masters annul meeting. Alex was hoping that somehow someone would show up with Lullaby or any other Etherious Demons to attack the meeting place, but nothing happens.
It's good that what he did can really change the future, but now he knows that he won't always be ready to face the consequences. Well, at least the result of this change isn't something bad, but it might not always be the case.
Now, Alex just needs to be ready for the next events from the story. He has written everything he remembers to make sure he won't forget the important events. Of course, he can't remember everything, but he remembers most of the important things and writes all of them.
The next event should be the Guild War with Phantom Lord, but Alex has fought and defeated them, so it shouldn't happen. Then after that should be Laxus's rebellious phase. But there's a very low chance that will happen too.
The current Laxus has a good relationship with Fairy Tail's members. He is also blending well with them and sometimes even plays their silly games. Alex can't imagine the current Laxus do that annoying game of his now.
Well, maybe it will happen if it's the Laxus from 2 or 3 years ago. After Alex became an S-Class, his rivalry with Laxus was still very strong. When he was a new S-Class, there was a period when Alex was significantly weaker than Laxus.
It wasn't because Alex got weak, but Laxus was getting stronger so fast that Alex was left behind. Laxus finally started embracing his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic and trained it seriously. All because of his rivalry with Alex that made him want to keep getting stronger.
Laxus wasn't using his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic seriously in the past. He was thinking that he could be very strong using his normal Lightning Magic. He wasn't wrong, but it would take longer to develop his normal Lightning Magic compared to his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic.
Furthermore, his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic is a more advanced magic than his normal Lightning Magic. So it has greater potential and can be much stronger than his normal Lightning Magic if he trains it seriously.
But Laxus wasn't too happy with his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic because it was given by his father who left Fairy Tail. It was given to him because he had a weak body and the Dragon Lacrima made his body stronger.
So if he used it as his main magic, he felt like he admitted that he was weak. It was also because he still couldn't truly accept that his father was exiled by his grandfather. They never talked about it, so he didn't know the real reason for Makarov to do that.
After all, Ivan is Makarov's son, they are a family, and Laxus couldn't understand why Makarov could exile his own son. Even so, he still stayed in Fairy Tail and followed his grandfather because his grandfather was his role model.
Anyway, some time after he became an S-Class Mage, Alex's power increased significantly. Absorbing Nirvana's magic power was the main reason. It lessened his burden to absorb magic power to break the seals, after all, so he could use more of the magic power he absorbed for himself, increasing his growing speed.
It made Alex get stronger than Laxus quickly. They were always equal before, so it really made Laxus frustrated. Laxus couldn't chase Alex's growth rate with his normal Lightning Magic, so he finally started using his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic.
After using and training it, Laxus finally caught up to Alex and even surpassed Alex quickly. His growth rate was very quick, much quicker than Alex, so he left Alex in the dust very quickly too and Alex couldn't chase him.
It wasn't strange for Laxus to have such a quick growth. After all, he never trained his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic properly before. But he has understood the basics because it's basically just Lightning Magic too, just the one that Dragons used, so the basics are the same as his normal Lightning Magic.
That's why he could grow very quickly in the early stages of training his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic. Alex couldn't catch up to that growing speed and that made Laxus very arrogant until he started seeing his Guild Mates as burdens.
That version of Laxus was very annoying. His arrogance kept getting worse by the day. It was because he didn't have real competition among the young Mages in the Guild and he believed he would surpass Makarov and Gildarts soon.
He said that when it happened, he would take the Guild Master position from Makarov. Alex wouldn't care about it if Laxus was not that annoying and arrogant. That version of Laxus was so annoying that Alex couldn't stand him at all.
If he didn't do anything to that Laxus, then he wouldn't be surprised if the same thing with the original story happens again. So he needed to get stronger to catch up and even surpass Laxus. Once he surpassed Laxus, the guy's arrogance would disappear, that was what Alex thought.
The world also seemed to agree with him because Laxus's growth then get much slower. He had finally reached the limit of his fast grow as he has reached the more advanced level of his Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic.
Alex's growth become incredibly fast compared to Laxus in that period and it didn't take long for Alex to catch up to Laxus's level. He even surpassed Laxus quickly and Laxus still can't catch up to him till now.
When he caught up to Laxus's level and finally could defeat Laxus again, Alex told Laxus how annoying he was in his arrogant phase. They were close enough to talk badly in front of each other without ending up as enemies.
After surpassing Laxus, Alex told Laxus to talk with Makarov and solve everything between them. He was really annoyed by how Laxus didn't really try to find out his grandfather's reason for expelling his father and only assumed things.
Laxus didn't want to do it at first, but he changed his mind after Alex told him he would be very surprised by the real fact that his whole world would be turned upside down. It made Laxus very curious, so he truly asked Makarov and the old man finally told Laxus everything.
When Laxus asked Alex about how he knew all those things, Alex told him that he didn't know anything. He told Laxus that he just wanted to make Laxus very curious and talked with Makarov, so he said it like that.
Well, he knew some of the truth, but obviously he won't tell anyone that he knew it. After all, he never talked with anyone about it, so it would be very strange if he knew that secret.
Anyway, since then, Laxus has become a much better person. He is still arrogant because he is strong, but he doesn't look down on his Guild Mates. He knows he cares about them and doesn't shy to show his care, especially when they are in danger.
Basically, he has become the changed Laxus after being expelled by Makarov for endangering people in the series. But he is not as mature as that version of Laxus, probably because he doesn't make the same mistake.
That's why Alex just can't imagine the current Laxus does the same thing as in the story. Even if he will, Alex has the confidence to defeat Laxus and Laxus knows that, so it's very unlikely that Laxus will do something that stupid.
That event is as good as not happening, so Alex can just focus on what will happen next. But the next event in the story also won't happen now because it involves Jellal and the escapees from the Tower of Heaven.
Jellal isn't controlled by anyone and they are truly free now. They are also gathered in a Legal Guild as free people. No one manipulates them to do the evil things they did in the story.
Furthermore, the Tower of Heaven has been destroyed which freed everyone enslaved there. So it is impossible for the same event to happen again.
Hades and other Zeref Worshippers might do other things, but it will be different from what they did in the series. That guy might still do the same in this year's S-Class exam and attack Tenrou Island though, so Alex needs to be ready for that.
There's also the event where Oracion Seis will try to get and activate Nirvana. But Alex has destroyed that thing, so it won't happen. Furthermore, there is no Oracion Seis Guild now, they don't exist.
Alex has been looking for them, but couldn't find them. Then he found their members in Heaven's Runners Guild, the Guild that the former slaves from Tower of Heaven made where Jellal is their Guild Master.
He didn't remember that the members of Oracion Seis were slaves from the Tower of Heaven, except for Brain or Zero, Oracion Seis's Guild Master. That guy wasn't from the Tower of Heaven like his members.
Brain or Zero was actually the reason why Alex has been looking for Oracion Seis. After all, that guy was actually the head of that research institute that was experimenting on him years ago.
Alex really wants to tear that guy apart for putting him and other people through that hell. Too bad, he couldn't find Brain's whereabouts till this day. Brain doesn't create Oracion Seis, so Alex doesn't know how to find him now.
But even without Oracion Seis, the number of dangerous Dark Guilds doesn't become lower. Balam Alliance only has Tartaros and Grimoire Heart. But those 2 Guilds have so many subordinate Guilds and they keep making subsidiary Guilds too.
Alex alone has destroyed so many Dark Guilds made by them and other Zeref Worshippers. But more and more just keep appearing. They truly are like weeds that keep growing even after being cut down. Criminals are always like that.
Anyway, Alex still needs to expect big problems caused by Dark Guilds in the near future. But the biggest event he needs to anticipate soon is Edolas Arc. He soon will find out whether he has an Edolas version of himself or not.
