"I'll give you the answers to most of your questions before telling you all I have to say."
"Okay." She takes in a deep breath, gathering her thoughts and questions.
"Have anything?"
She nods, then moves her lips.
"Why did you marry me?"
"Ah! The most important question of all."
he spins around in his chair, with the wheels Joon-He didn't even know they had.
"Well!" He claps his hands together. "I married you because...I had to."
"That didn't answer my question." She says, her tone now serious.
"You are not a normal girl, Joon-He, haven't you noticed?"
"What do you--?"
"Just look at you! Your eyes, and lets not forget the fact that you got healed in just a day with that much injuries!"
She begins to press her ribs, feeling the memories of the pain she felt the other day.
"I married you because you posses powers
Joon-He. And we cannot let it fall into the hands of the evil--"
"And who are these evil?"
"Calm down, calm down, one question at a time."
"And have you not finished answering the question?" She said with a raised brow.
"I married you, because I somehow need you."
"For what?"
"That, we will learn as we live."
"Okay, then who are the evil people you talk about."
"The Reapers."
The memories of them hitting her flash in her head.
"What does that have to do with me?"
"Like I said before, you posses power..they want that power..and I married you to protect that power."
"Oh, I see."
He leans in on the table, placing his elbows on it.
"That's why we need to keep you safe, and indoors."
"Indoors? Forever!?"
"It depends, there are tes you can go, and times when you can't, most of the times you wish to leave, then you can just go..ask Hin-Hye."
"Why? Why should I ask Hin-Hye?"
"Because...I'll explain later..but make sure that you do so."
She nods, grazing through her thoughts.
"What do the Shinigamis and Grim Reapers want?"
"My soul, and my powers." He says, leaning Into his chair sighing. "They believe that I've ruined the system of life, and should've died years ago, and now, with the powers that they know I have, they wish to take it away from me, and use it for their own evil will and doing."
"Then what do they want with me?" She said pointing to herself.
"Is everything I'm saying passing the other ear?! You have powers within you!" He said gesticulating with his hands towards her.
Weol-So slaps his forehead, sliding it down to his jaw, not in annoyance though.
He erects himself in his chair, then looks Joon-He in the eye.
"There are some things I can do to normal humans that I can't do to you."
He stands up, then walks towards her.
Bending his head to her level, making it even easier to smell is sweat scent.
"Now."
He turns that chair, in order for Joon-He to face his direction.
"Look at me."
They lock eyes, feeling the universe yet again in them, she feels all sort of comfort when looking at his eyes, thinking that it can forget all her worries.
"See? It didn't work."
He rises, slapping the side of his laps.
"What? What didn't work?" Joon-He said, following him to his chair with her eyes.
He leans into his chair, l letting out a sigh.
"Were you... trying to.. hypnotize me?"
"Something like that..I like to say more like, compel you."
She gasps a loud one, holding onto her lips as if it would fall.
"You can compel people?"
"Yes, but I choose not to." He tults his head, then stares at her. "You! On the other hand."
He points. "Can't be compelled, which is a good thing."
"Okay, okay, okay, now that I have powers, how can I use them?"
"That is a question for the wrong person."
He points to himself. "I don't know that part about you."
He raises out of his chair, and heads to the door.
"But what I do know is, you should be careful--"
"Hey, hey Hey!! Don't tell me you're done already! I still don't understand a single thing!"
"Don't worry, we'll begin to understand on the way." He said, giving her a reassuring smile.
"Oh.. okay."
He opens the door, gesturing for Joon-He to pass through.
She gets up from her seat, and walks towards the door, but gets gets stopped by Weol-So.
"You should be hanging out with Hin-Hye from now on, let her be your friend, and advice you."
"Advice me? What is a little girl going to advice me about?"
"Don't worry, there are other types of advice in this world, she can give it to you."
"Okay."
"If you need anything, tell me."
She nods, but gets stopped by Weol-So again, when he grabs her wrist.
"Almost forgot to give you this."
He pulls out a big pink and wide square shaped phone from his pocket.
"Here you go."
Her mouth goes agape. She points to it, then points to herself.
"Yes it's for you."
She yanks it out of his hands, then begins to kiss it.
"Thank you so much honey!"
He just stares at her, not knowing if he should say something about that, or just leave it be.
She passes through, then he shuts the door.
'That girl, she is trouble, but no worries, I know how to handle trouble.' He thinks to himself, then smirks.
Lost in thoughts, he hears knocking on the door.
He opens it, only to see Joon-He.
"Um.. please, remember we teleported here, so." She tucks her hair behind her ears.
Weol-So let's out a huge groan, then they teleport back to their room.
"Thanks."
He teleports back to wherever, leaving Joon-He alone.
'Can't go outside!? Then what am I supposed to do?'
She turns to the phone in her hands, then smiles.
'But I don't know how to use this...'
An idea strikes into her head.
"HIN-HYE!!!!!"
She walks up to her room, then sees Hin-Hye walking there as well.
"Hin-Hye, Thank God you're here."
"What happened?"
She carries the phone to her face.
"Do you know how to use this?"
"This is 2024 madam, how can I not.. Nevermind, yes I do, why?"
"Good, please teach me."
"What?"
"Yes!"
"What do you want me to teach you?"
"Um..how to use it..Duh!"
"I don't understand? How do you not know how to use it?"
"Are you going to teach me how to use it or what?"
"Yes madam." She said with a semi smirk.
"Well, come on, let's go in."
"In where?"
"My room of course."
"I have things to do."
"Oh..oka--Is that how you talk to the wife of the owner of this place?" She said while placing her hands on her hips.
"My apologies madam of I'm being disrespectful, but I do have chores to do."
"Then hurry up with them, We also have things to talk about."
"Okay madam, I'll be out in a few minutes."
She walks away, leaving Joon-He alone. She heads to her room, seeing her dog lying lazily on the ground.
"Tini!!"
The dog just raises an ear, but continues to sleep.
"My dogs boring as well."
She looks around, then heads to the window, sniffing in the air of the place, and the backyard.
"Well, I can still go explore."
She drops the phone on a table, heads out of the room, walking down the stairs.
"Now if I can just remember the road I and Hin-Hye went through."
She begins to walk until she stumbles upon the same glass door as last time.
"Ah Ha!"
She walks to the glass door getting ready to slide it, but a memory hits her.
"Anyway, Mr Shin said that no one should go in there--"
The memory ends, but curiosity still lingers within Joon-He.
She begins to remember when he was holding the cleaver.
"I don't think he was going to actually use that on me do I?"
Her heart begins to race, but then another memories comes up.
"You're special!"
"I married you, because I somehow need you."
The memory ends as she smiles.
"He wouldn't hurt me! He needs me."
She slides open the door, entering the field, she again takes off her slippers sinking her feet in the ground, and the long soft grass.
The breeze flows in from left to right. She closes her eyes, sinking into the garden.
"The singing flowers." She whispers to herself.
Tip toeing on the grass, sheakes he way to the tent, feeling a little bit of fear.
"I married you, because I somehow need you." Echoes in her head.
"He won't hurt me." She says, trying to reassure herself.
She bends he neck from left to right, then gently walks towards the tent, stretching her hands towards the zip.
She unzips the tent only to see Weol-So's face.
She jumps at the sudden surprise, almost falling, but balances herself.
Weol-So stands out of the tent looking at her. She tucks her hair behind her ears clearing her throat.
"I..I.."
She avoids his gaze, taking in a huge gulping.
"Guess I'll have to teach you a lesson."
