Chapter 271 - Not his fault

An unusual silence broke between both of them. Abrielle could sense that Sebastian had something to say on his mind, but he was restraining himself from speaking.

 

 The music was still playing in the background while she admired the moon that would be full in a few days from now. 

 

 "Is Cedric the problem ?" Sebastian finally asked, breaking the silence. Abrielle sighed then shook her head. It was hard to say the problem here was Cedric. Honestly, despite being a horrible person as she described in the novel and being destined to kill her, he has not done anything except act the way she wrote him.

 

 "Things have been tense between you two. Your mother didn't seem to believe my claims of him being a nice person. At least, that's what she tells my mother." Sebastian answered, he was genuinely curious about the roses in Abrielle's possession. He could not ask because she did not seem comfortable about that.
