Xavier turned the same dagger he had taken from Phillip and aimed it at his chest. He touched Phillip's shoulder, keeping him steady as he stabbed him with the dagger.
"Humans are easy for all of us to manipulate," Xavier said, revealing his talent to the demon. "You should have picked a better host or come up out of the underworld in your own body."
Xavier pushed the dagger further. He didn't have any other choice but to use the holy weapon on Phillip since it would be the only way to get rid of the demon. A demon could still linger in the dead.
Phillip yearned to move so he could push Xavier away. The little voice he heard was screaming, releasing a cry Phillip would never be able to forget as an unbearable pain overcame his body.
Phillip refused to believe he had been approached by a demon. What he said and heard could only be a God.
