"It's you, brat!"
"But now that we're all mixed together, your ability is useless." The Fourth Raikage still remembered Deidara vividly, but in the next moment, he dismissed his concerns.
Not only was he in the Edo Tensei state, but he had also successfully blended in with his own forces. Did Deidara really think he would dare to blow up his own allies?
"Your reasoning isn't entirely wrong, but you've clearly underestimated the fact that I improve."
"I'm not the same as before."
Deidara tossed the miniature factory in his hand to the ground, and in an instant, it expanded to full size.
As the white clay factory rapidly spread across the ground, the battlefield momentarily froze. The sight before them was beyond comprehension.
Wasn't that brat's ability supposed to create strange living creatures? Since when did he start constructing buildings? The Fourth Raikage frowned in confusion.
"Who cares? As long as we kill the sealing corps, nothing else matters!"
"Whatever tricks they pull won't change the outcome—we're invincible!" Kinkaku and Ginkaku sneered. They were pure villains, reveling in the slaughter.
The Edo Tensei forces nodded in agreement and charged forward once more.
"Hell Stab! Four-Finger Thrust!"
The Third and Fourth Raikage struck first, but Tobirama had his eyes on them. Every time they were about to land a decisive hit, he would teleport their target away with the Flying Thunder God Technique.
"Tobirama Senju, you can't protect everyone!" The Kinkaku brothers laughed arrogantly, resembling crude imitations of Naruto as Nine-Tails chakra flared around them. They rushed toward a sealing corps ninja with murderous intent.
"Die!" Tsunade roared, sending the brothers flying with a single punch.
But they were outnumbered. This wouldn't last forever.
Standing atop the observation tower of his clay factory, Deidara watched as an endless stream of automated war machines rolled out—mechs, tanks, planes, and combat vehicles. The real challenge was distributing them to the ninja on their side.
"Leave that to me." Tobirama clapped his hands together and formed a seal.
"Bringer-of-Darkness Technique!"
Instantly, daylight was swallowed by an unnatural blackness. Unlike the darkness of night, this was absolute—no chakra sensing, no dojutsu could pierce it.
A perfect counter against the Sharingan.
A perfect opportunity!
Deidara was unaffected. Kakashi and his team also resisted the genjutsu, but that was it. Tobirama couldn't selectively spare every ally—only the core members were exempt.
"Mech Corps! Deploy!"
With a roar, an entire battalion of clay mechs ignited their thrusters and soared into the battlefield, followed closely by tanks, planes, and more.
Each clay construct landed beside an ally and immediately swallowed them whole.
"What the hell?! I'm being eaten!" Panic spread as ninja found themselves engulfed by the strange machines, feeling as if they were being devoured by some soft-bodied creature.
"Don't resist! They're here to protect you!" Tsunade shouted. But when one of the clay battle armors approached her, she shuddered.
"Get lost! I don't need this thing!"
Alright, maybe some people were just hypocrites.
Two minutes later, the darkness lifted, revealing an entirely different battlefield.
"What the hell is this?!"
The Third Kazekage found himself surrounded by towering, white, geometrically shaped giants. Their rigid forms made them look more like machines than living beings.
Which made sense, because they were mechs.
Inside one such mech, a ninja from Takigakure sat in stunned silence. He had obeyed Tsunade's command and hadn't resisted. Now, as his vision cleared, he found himself inside this bizarre contraption.
Staring at the incomprehensible control panel, he hesitated.
"Press here to attack?"
Thankfully, the cockpit had simple instructions. The ninja hesitated briefly before slamming his palm on a button.
Boom!
A massive shell erupted from the mech's chest cannon, blasting a crater into the ground and nearly hitting another mech in the process.
"Hey! Watch it! Can't you aim properly?!"
The pilot of the second mech adjusted quickly, directing a flurry of shells toward the bewildered Third Kazekage.
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Wall!"
Recognizing the sheer power of the artillery, the Kazekage hastily erected a thick iron-sand barrier. The first few shells exploded harmlessly against it.
He scoffed. "Hmph, is that all—"
"What are you all standing around for?! Keep firing!" someone yelled.
A relentless barrage followed.
"Oh, shit!"
The Third Kazekage watched in horror as his supposedly indestructible wall crumbled under the sheer volume of explosions. No matter how fast he repaired it, the artillery outpaced him.
He discreetly created a sand eye to survey the battlefield from above.
And what he saw left him speechless.
Hundreds of clay mechs surrounded him, all raining fire upon him without mercy.
And yet, his situation wasn't the worst.
That honor belonged to the Kinkaku brothers.
Their combat prowess relied entirely on the Six Paths Tools, but now they couldn't even reach their opponents. What good were their treasures if they couldn't land a single hit?
"Damn it!" Kinkaku roared, shrouding himself in his tailed beast cloak, transforming into a smaller, dark-red Nine-Tails avatar. He swung a massive claw, smashing a nearby clay tank to pieces. As he grinned at the terrified ninja inside, he laughed maniacally.
"See that?! Your worthless toys won't save you!"
But before he could finish, a shell struck him from behind, slamming him into the ground.
Then, another.
And another.
Endless artillery rained down, flattening the terrain itself.
"Curse you! If I get a chance, I'll—"
Boom!
The cycle repeated. Over and over, Kinkaku was revived only to be immediately bombarded back into oblivion.
As for the rest of the undead army?
They fared even worse.
"Sealing team! Begin the seals—now!"
