She quickened her pace, rushing forward with a "plop plop" sound, her hands swiftly reaching towards the water's surface. One try, then two, she stirred up huge splashes.
The fish suddenly turned in another direction, with Xue Yuantong following the curve, until at last she pinpointed its shadow. She lunged forward with a huff, determined to catch it.
