Sheraya had thought the other was circling to his back again, so he stayed alert behind him while also looking at the mirror surface, but... there was no trace of them in the mirror! Nor above, in front, or to either side! It was as if they had truly vanished.

Glancing down, he witnessed an incredible scene!
A blade had pierced through his foot, and the hand holding the blade had actually extended from the ground below!
The ground wasn't shattered, yet the arm was still protruding; the juncture between the ground and hand was unnaturally abnormal, as if the hand had passed through an illusion. However, Sheraya was indeed standing firmly upon it, what on earth was going on?
In the next instant, the arm disappeared, and then the young man appeared nearby, mumbling under his breath.
