Harden lay on the ground, huffing and panting as sweat rolled down his body. He was clearly exhausted.
"Alright, so far from all our fights, I can tell you a few things about your ability. The condition for using it is that you must see someone use it. The number of times you need to see someone use it is determined by how advanced the skill is.
You're not copying or mimicking skills; you're learning them, which means you can make changes to the skills if you wish.
You can learn a maximum of three skills, as you couldn't learn more than three of my skills, and you can only learn three for a while before learning another. The duration is unknown, and you'll have to find out. The number of skills you can learn for a while may increase as you get used to your ability.
Your ability is always activated, and your eyes glow yellow when you're learning a skill, just learned a skill, or you're enhancing a learned ability. I never enhanced any skills, though."
"You're mythical force is extremely large. By adding more mythical force than required, you can make a learned ability stronger from what I noticed."
I didn't even know I did that, Harden thought to himself.
"So the fact that he can learn other skills of various classes is the reason why he didn't have a class."
"Exactly," Hawkins replied.
"Harden, I'm going to say this once. Cataclysmic Revolt is after you, and you have to defend yourself. Participate in raids, hone your skills, get stronger. Keep your ability a secret. Amy and Raizo, I trust you won't tell anyone that's beyond this room, because if you do..." Hawkins didn't continue his sentence. They both knew how serious Hawkins was about this. He was basically like a brother to both of them, and he had never sounded this serious.
"We understand," Raizo said.
"If it's life or death, feel free to use your ability, Harden," Hawkins said.
"Understood," Harden replied.
"Will you tell him about it?" Harden asked.
"I won't tell Dad or anyone else about it," Hawkins replied. "You're the brother of Hawkins the Phoenix and Finn the Berserker. I always knew you had potential. Honestly, with what I've discovered, you have the potential to be the strongest in the world. Don't waste it," Hawkins said.
"I won't," Harden replied.
And with those words, Hawkins left the group.
Potential to be the strongest, huh... Harden said internally as he clenched his fist. Mum, I'll get my revenge as promised, Harden said.
