Compared to the lavish and refined itinerary of the women, the men's excursion felt rather eccentric by contrast.

After the earlier pool party, the noblemen had split into groups. Some had gone off for gambling sessions at private casinos, others had ventured into the royal hunting grounds to track down enhanced beasts for sport.
A few, for reasons beyond Vanitas' comprehension, had dressed up as commoners and wandered into the slums, begging in the streets as if there were hidden cameras recording their pitiful antics for entertainment.
That wasn't even the end of it.
Vanitas, of course, had been dragged along with Franz's group. They went to several places within the Empire.
