Three days passed in a flash, and now the army was ready to charge at the dragon. Everyone already knew the plan and understood it well. The soldiers looked at peace, their faces stern and full of sharp determination and dread for what was to happen.

The one who looked the most worried walked in the front, patting her snow-white destrier. The horse scuffed and huffed, his eyes gleaming with pure willpower. With one, he looked forward to the planes. This might be his last ride after all.

Alicia didn't know what exactly the pixies gave her horse, but she hoped it would at least ease its pain through the fire, and hopefully allow it to survive. But looking at the unwavering determination of her horse, she became even sadder. The humans had a reason to risk their lives, an aggressive dragon is a mortal danger to their lives if allowed to live and grow stronger. But the horses didn't understand that.
