Pain's gaze flickered slightly. "Uchiha Mirai… how is Konan?"
"Konan?" Mirai responded indifferently. "She's happy."
"Before I came here, she even asked me to spare your life."
Pain's eyes darkened. A flash of anger flickered across his face.
"I am no longer the man I once was."
