Chapter 362 - Chapter 363: The Probability of Winning

A streak of golden light flashed across the sky as Alan carried Red Queen on his back, preparing to head straight home. However, upon seeing the bustling streets filled with cars and pedestrians, he changed his mind.

He decided to take a short walk. It had been a long time since he last allowed himself to relax.

"Master, you seem much more at ease," Red Queen observed. She constantly monitored Alan's physical state and could tell that his mood had improved significantly.

"Of course. As long as certain troublesome incidents don't occur and nothing goes wrong for a while, I can finally get some proper rest." Alan stretched his arms, feeling a rare sense of relief.

He had assumed that since he possessed both the Mind Stone and the Reality Stone, the events involving Ultron and Vision would never take place.

But who could have expected Tony to come up with the idea of linking human consciousness data to robots? Would that trigger some uncontrollable scenario?

Alan couldn't be sure. He wanted to avoid straying too far from the established Marvel timeline while also preventing unnecessary chaos.

For now, at least, he had successfully stopped the Ultron incident. As for Vision—there was absolutely no chance he would exist.

After all, the Mind Stone embedded in Vision's forehead was ultimately plucked out by Thanos. Alan had already ensured that wouldn't happen.

With the stone safely stored within Red Queen, there was no way Thanos could get close to it. Especially since, as of now, he only had the Time Stone.

"Master, I ran a supercomputer simulation to calculate your chances of defeating Thanos," Red Queen suddenly announced.

Her unexpected statement took Alan by surprise. When had she started running calculations on this?

"And? What's the result?" he asked, curious about her findings.

"One hundred percent. If you act now, you can completely eliminate Thanos," Red Queen answered matter-of-factly.

As they strolled down the street, the sound of passing cars whizzed by, stirring a light breeze that lifted strands of Red Queen's voluminous golden hair.

Alan fell silent.

Noticing his lack of response, Red Queen grew nervous. She cautiously glanced up at his expression but found that he wasn't even looking at her.

This only made her more anxious—was he mad at her? Was he angry that she had run simulations without his permission?

Summoning her courage, she reached out and gently tugged at the sleeve of his gray-blue coat. "Master… are you upset?"

"Huh?" A rare hint of confusion flashed across Alan's eyes. "Why would I be mad?"

Hearing his response, Red Queen hesitated for a moment before deciding to be more direct. "Then… will you go and eliminate Thanos?"

Her voice still echoed in his ears as Alan slowly reached out and stroked her golden hair.

"I will," he admitted, "but not yet."

From the very beginning, Alan had known—Thanos was meant to be the final villain.

With his current power, he could easily wipe out every major antagonist from both the comics and movies before they ever had the chance to act.

He could end all threats before they even surfaced.

But he also knew… he couldn't do that.

If he recklessly eliminated all the major villains ahead of schedule, how was he supposed to keep the story moving?

"Why not?" Red Queen asked. As a super-intelligent AI, she could process calculations at an unimaginable speed—but she still couldn't predict Alan's thoughts or future decisions.

Alan smirked, clicking his tongue playfully. "Why don't you try using that little head of yours to figure it out?"
