Eva peeked timidly from behind him, still clutching the blanket tight to her chest, her cheeks an impossible shade of red.

Though she wasn't fully naked was, she felt like she was.

Elsa's gaze flicked to her for a brief moment, then back to Liam.

The air between them grew charged, thick with tension once again—but this time, it wasn't just the heavy atmosphere of romantic heat. There was something else bubbling underneath.

The tension hung heavily in the air for another heartbeat.

Then Elsa suddenly sighed, the sound soft but strangely filled with resignation.

Her gaze, still locked on Liam's, seemed to lose a bit of its teasing edge, replaced instead by something deeper—something older, almost bittersweet.

"I'm not surprised," Elsa said quietly, her arms dropping to her sides as she stood there, illuminated by the soft illusionary light. "I guess… I never really expected to keep you all to myself."

Her voice wasn't angry.

It wasn't cold.

It was simply… honest.
