"You have been warned, Natalia. Stay away from my baby boo, or else. You're going to get burned." Valentina snapped her fingers, tossed her hair like a diva, and staggered to the door, walking out.
"Whoa, that's some K-drama stuff right there," Haven remarked.
"What dirty little secrets is my sister talking about, Natalia?" Maya peered into Natalia's eyes. She could tell that Natalia was hiding something.
Natalia stared back at her in silence.
Maya's stomach knotted. Her trust in Natalia was wavering as the seconds passed, and Natalia still hadn't answered her question.
"I don't want to talk about it. Maybe later. I will be going to Milan with Marcello, my boss, so I need to go home and pack my suitcase." She picked her coat from the hanger, draped it over her shoulders, and hurried out.
Maya fell onto the couch, unsure of what to think.
"Don't worry, Maya. Natalia will share her dirty little secrets when she's ready," Laura assured Maya.
