Shen Yan returned home in the evening and saw Qi Si sitting in the living room.
The flowers delivered that day were still arranged all over the living room, turning it into a sea of blooms, with Qi Si seated on a single sofa, his space partly taken up by bouquets, his whole being enveloped in the scent of flowers.
Looking at the man amidst the floral sea, Shen Yan found herself momentarily enrapt.
She thought,
Qi Si suited flowers better than anyone else!
Qi Si looked up and met Shen Yan's gaze.
Shen Yan approached him with a smile, "Mr. Qi, when did you get back?"
The man who had just mentioned returning as soon as possible was now home.
"Just arrived."
The smile in Shen Yan's eyes seemed to intensify. She glanced around and walked over, "Did you visit the Shen family?"
"Everything is well at the Shen Family."
"Then, I'm relieved."
Qi Si put down his work and looked at Shen Yan, "Your father and mother want to have a meal with both families, what do you think?"
