Chapter 394 - Plans For The Future

"Sugar high, honey bun," I sang, not caring about the fact that I was clearly off-key. Pulling out a lollypop from my space, I took off the wrapper as I continued my song. "You know that I love you so. I can't help myself; I love you and nobody else."

 

A voice cleared behind me, but I ignored it. The song was now living rent-free in my head, and if I had to suffer, the rest of them had to suffer with me. Sticking the candy into my mouth, I continued to hum the song as we strolled through the jungle.

 

Behind us, smoke curled up to the sky as the village continued to smolder. I wasn't worried about the jungle catching fire. After all, with all the humidity that the guys were complaining about, it would take a lot for the plants to burn. What I was worried about was the village not burning enough.
