If this were back when Stark had first invented the Iron Man suit, he might have been eager to go out and catch thieves just to show off.
But now, all he felt was helplessness.
"I think I'll just stick to evolving and upgrading my suits. Peter is more than enough to handle the small-time criminals," Stark said with a shrug.
Luo Bai smiled but said nothing.
At that moment, Stark spoke again.
"By the way, Luo Bai, what does Thanos actually look like? I'm not particularly curious about him, but considering he's planning to invade Earth, it wouldn't feel right not even knowing what he looks like."
Seeing Stark's sincere expression, Luo Bai chuckled. With a wave of his hand, he conjured a photo out of thin air.
"This is an image I created based on Thanos' actual appearance using real-life magic. Take a look."
He handed the photo over.
Stark quickly grabbed it and stared at it for a moment.
The more he looked, the more his brows furrowed, forming deep lines that resembled the Chinese character "川".
A rare coincidence.
At that moment, his expression was strikingly similar to an old man on the subway squinting at his phone screen…
Seeing his reaction, Luo Bai couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong? Judging by your face, you seem to have a lot of thoughts about Thanos."
Stark shook his head before finally voicing his thoughts.
"I just can't get over how weird aliens look. How do I even describe this guy's face…?"
"Like a face stretched over a shoebox? Or maybe a purple potato that suddenly gained sentience?" Luo Bai offered.
Stark blinked, then suddenly nodded in realization.
"Purple potato. Yeah, that's perfect."
The main reason Stark had returned to Kamar-Taj was to deliver this urgent news to Luo Bai.
But after learning that the situation had already been resolved, the two chatted for a while before Stark prepared to leave.
"Alright, since the problem's been dealt with, I'll be heading back~~ Still got more research to do and suits to upgrade~~" Stark said as he extended his hand, ready to open a portal.
Just as he was about to step through, he suddenly paused, as if remembering something.
Turning back, he asked, "By the way, Luo Bai, did you know that today is Lorna's birthday?"
Lorna's birthday?
Luo Bai shook his head. "I haven't really paid much attention to that… But wait, how do you know?"
"Pepper told me. Lately, she's been getting along really well with Lorna and Wanda. The three of them often go shopping together when they have free time," Stark explained.
Luo Bai nodded but didn't say much.
After Stark left, he realized that he hadn't visited the villa in a while.
Since it was Lorna's birthday, it was only right for him to drop by.
But before that, he had something else to take care of—the two Infinity Stones Thanos had sent him.
With that thought in mind, Luo Bai headed toward the main hall of Kamar-Taj.
After casting a mirror spell to form a barrier around the area, he took out the remaining two Infinity Stones and began absorbing their power.
The process of absorbing their energy wasn't as simple as just swallowing them.
Instead, the raw stones had to be refined into a different form through a special method before they could be absorbed into the body.
It was similar to how he had previously absorbed the energy of the Reality Stone.
Normally, if someone wanted to wield the power of all six Infinity Stones, they would need the Infinity Gauntlet.
After all, the raw power of these stones was overwhelming—even cosmic beings struggled to control them. The gauntlet was specifically designed to withstand and channel their energy.
But that was a limitation for ordinary people.
For Luo Bai, things were different.
Ever since he had absorbed Yinhua's cosmic energy, his body had undergone immense enhancement.
With the additional balance provided by Immortal Qi, he was now fully capable of handling the power of all six Infinity Stones on his own.
To him, the best way to secure the stones… was to fully absorb their power and store them within his body.
That way, they would be hidden from any prying hands.
With this decision made, Luo Bai took out the two remaining raw stones and began the refining process.
The ones left were the Power Stone and the Soul Stone.
The Power Stone—as its name suggested—granted limitless strength.
It was a straightforward stone. Upon absorbing its energy, Luo Bai immediately felt his entire body surge with raw, untamed power.
It was said that this stone not only enhanced a user's physical attacks and defense but also supplied energy to the other stones, amplifying their effects.
And from what Luo Bai could feel, that was indeed the case.
As the Power Stone's energy coursed through him, he could sense how it strengthened the abilities of the other stones he had already absorbed.
However, this still wasn't the final form of the Infinity Stones.
Once he finished absorbing the Power Stone, he moved on to the Soul Stone.
Among the six stones, the Soul Stone was considered one of the most mysterious.
Legend had it that the Soul Stone could steal, control, and manipulate souls.
Before absorbing it, Luo Bai hadn't fully understood its true nature.
He only knew, vaguely, that it was tied to the essence of souls.
But the moment he integrated its power into his body, everything became clear.
Now, he could fully comprehend the Soul Stone's abilities.
And that… was only the beginning.
In the World of Magic
As long as a person's soul still exists, true death does not occur.
Of course, this isn't limited to magic.
This principle holds true across the entire Marvel Universe and even beyond—to the multiverse, the super-universe, and the omniverse.
The soul is the most crucial factor that determines a person's life and death.
The function of the Soul Stone is to control the soul and command the undead.
The Soul Stone can steal the soul of a living person, control the undead after death, and even bring people back to life.
After understanding its true power, Luo Bai finally realized why obtaining the Soul Stone required such a heavy price—sacrificing a soul.
After all, its abilities were undeniably overwhelming.
Of course, no matter how powerful the Soul Stone was, it was still just a single stone.
A single Infinity Stone could never compare to the combined power of all six.
When Luo Bai finished absorbing the last remaining stone—the Soul Stone—he fully integrated its energy into his body.
Now, with all six Infinity Stones fused together, their powers would amplify each other, producing an even greater force.
Surprisingly, Luo Bai didn't feel any discomfort.
Perhaps it was due to the balancing effect of his celestial energy, but he had no trouble assimilating all six stones.
The integration process was completed in an instant.
As Luo Bai opened his eyes, he couldn't help but mutter, "That's strange… why don't I feel anything?"
It was odd, to say the least.
Normally, every time he absorbed an Infinity Stone, he would experience an overwhelming surge of power—an energy so strong that it felt as if it was trying to take over his body.
Logically speaking, now that he had integrated all six, the sensation should have been even stronger.
Yet, to his surprise… he felt nothing.
"Did the stones even merge properly?" Luo Bai wondered.
Since he couldn't quite sense the power of the fully integrated stones, he decided to test their effects.
It was said that when all six Infinity Stones were combined, the user could reshape the entire universe according to their will.
Though Luo Bai had no intention of making half the universe disappear, testing the power of the Infinity Stones wasn't out of the question.
For the sake of ceremony, he even snapped his fingers.
The moment his fingers clicked, an immense force instantly swept across the entire universe—only to vanish just as quickly.
