The Fairy Force and Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, actually shared a similarity—
Both required energy to sustain themselves.
In simple terms… they were both cosmic-level foodies.
It was said that they had encountered each other in the past, but the outcome of that meeting remained unclear.
Since it happened so long ago, there was no need to dwell on the details.
After all—
Galactus still existed.
The Fairy Force still existed.
Whatever had happened between them, neither had been erased from the universe.
Luo Bai had no interest in digging up the past.
But now—
Galactus was preparing to descend upon Earth.
And that was a problem.
If a battle truly broke out, this time, the outcome might be different from their last encounter.
Luo Bai was 80 to 90 percent confident in his ability to handle Galactus alone—
But Galactus wasn't coming alone.
Three of his Heralds stood at his side:
Tyrant
Firelord
Stardust
Each of them, while not as powerful as their master, was strong enough to defeat Earth's ancient gods with ease.
If all four descended upon Earth together—
The planet would be in grave danger.
Even though Luo Bai could withstand the battle, he wasn't sure if Earth itself could.
Even if he opened a dimensional rift to separate the battlefield from Earth, the combined strength of these four would be more than enough to break through dimensions.
It seemed that this time—
The Justice League would have to be mobilized.
And perhaps the X-Men as well.
Only by bringing in Earth's most powerful forces could the planet be safeguarded.
In fact—
Even that might not be enough.
Earth itself needed an upgrade.
Fortifying Earth
Now that Luo Bai had absorbed cosmic energy, he could continuously draw power directly from the universe's core.
With that in mind, he devised a new plan:
He would construct an enormous energy matrix around Earth.
This network of cosmic energy would be funneled directly into Earth's core, reinforcing the planet's stability and defenses.
Previously, such an idea had been avoided due to concerns that an overpowered Earth would attract unwanted attention from multiversal entities.
But now?
Earth had already been noticed.
There was no point in hiding anymore.
With this in mind, Luo Bai began constructing the energy matrix within Kamar-Taj, linking Earth to the infinite energy of the universe.
Since this project was massive and complex, it took significant time to complete.
By the time Luo Bai finally finished—
Half a month had passed.
Realizing how much time had slipped by, Luo Bai frowned.
"Has it been that long? Why is there still no sign of Thanos or Galactus? What's taking them so long?"
Thanos had claimed he was coming half a month ago.
Yet—
He still hadn't arrived.
Luo Bai narrowed his eyes.
Could it be…?
Because he lost the Space Stone, Thanos is now stuck traveling the slow way?
Curious, Luo Bai activated his cosmic vision to scan the universe.
The results were exactly what he expected.
Thanos' Delayed Journey
In the original timeline, Thanos' plan was simple—
Obtain the Power Stone.
Obtain the Space Stone from Asgard.
Use the Space Stone to travel at lightspeed and collect the remaining Infinity Stones.
But now—
The Space Stone was gone.
And without it, Thanos had been forced to take the long route.
It had taken him half a month just to reach Vormir and claim the Soul Stone.
Even after obtaining it—
At his current speed, it would take him another half a month to reach Earth.
Luo Bai couldn't help but chuckle.
"Thanos, you're such a good person. Willing to spend so much time traveling just to deliver the Infinity Stones to me… It's truly touching."
Smirking, he reached out with his cosmic energy.
"Since you're working so hard, I'll give you a hand."
Thanos' Unexpected Arrival
Meanwhile—
Aboard Sanctuary II, Thanos sat on his throne as his fleet slowly made its way toward Earth.
His expression was grim.
His patience—wearing thin.
"How much longer until we reach Earth?" Thanos demanded.
At his side, Ebony Maw hesitated for a moment before replying respectfully:
"Father, at our current speed… it will take at least another half a month."
Thanos fell silent.
His plan had been in motion for ten years.
What was another half a month compared to a decade of preparation?
And yet—
Something about the wait felt unbearable.
He had anticipated that once he reached Earth, collecting the remaining Infinity Stones would be quick and effortless.
But now, every second felt like an eternity.
Deep in thought, Thanos muttered,
"Perhaps we should go to Earth first. If we had the Space Stone, our journey would be much easier."
Ebony Maw bowed. "Father, do not worry. Soon, all the stones will be yours."
Thanos said nothing.
But his expression darkened.
He was growing impatient.
Yet without the Space Stone, there was nothing he could do.
So, he remained silent.
Then—
Something changed.
A mysterious force suddenly enveloped the entire ship.
Thanos instantly felt it.
His eyes narrowed.
Something wasn't right.
Just as he was about to investigate—
The force vanished.
His instincts screamed at him—something had just happened.
"What just happened?!" Thanos demanded, his voice sharp.
The crew on board exchanged uneasy glances.
Ebony Maw quickly checked the ship's sensors.
Then—he froze.
Turning back to Thanos, he immediately reported:
"Father… it appears we have arrived."
Thanos' eyes widened.
"What?"
Ebony Maw gestured forward.
"Look ahead. Earth is right in front of us."
Thanos: "????"
What the hell??
A second ago, he had been half a month away.
In the blink of an eye, their ship had traveled from Vormir to Earth.
Thanos' brows furrowed. "What's going on? Why did our spaceship suddenly arrive on Earth?"
His voice carried an unmistakable sense of vigilance.
Yet—
None of his subordinates had an answer.
Everyone looked at each other in confusion.
Before they could even begin to make sense of the situation—
Something even more shocking happened.
There was a new person on the spaceship.
Thanos: "???"
Ebony Maw: "???"
Everyone: "???"
The realization struck them all at once.
There was a stranger standing right inside their ship.
For a brief moment, silence filled the room.
Even Thanos himself seemed momentarily stunned.
Then—
They all snapped back to reality.
Almost instantly, the entire crew went into combat readiness.
Thanos clenched his fists, the Infinity Gauntlet glimmering with power.
But before anyone could make a move—
The intruder spoke first.
"Didn't you want to come to Earth to find me? So why are you all so nervous now that I'm here?"
Everyone: "???"
The confusion in the air deepened.
Ebony Maw immediately stepped forward, his expression sharp.
"Who are you?"
The stranger smiled.
"Supreme Sorcerer, Luo Bai."
Thanos: "..."
At that moment, a single thought emerged in everyone's minds—
The ship had been hijacked.
What the hell just happened?!
Who was this Luo Bai?!
And how did he just suddenly appear inside their spaceship?!
Something was definitely wrong—
Nine out of ten things were wrong!
Swift Execution
Ebony Maw's instincts screamed at him—
Attack first.
But—
Luo Bai had already seen through him.
Before Ebony Maw could even move, Luo Bai casually waved a hand.
A golden portal instantly opened behind Ebony Maw.
Before he could react—
He was gone.
Ebony Maw suddenly found himself floating in the vacuum of space.
His entire body froze within seconds, the sheer cold rendering him motionless.
Inside the ship—
Everyone was still trying to process what had just happened when—
Luo Bai made his next move.
With a flick of his wrist—
The Infinity Gauntlet vanished from Thanos' hand…
…and reappeared in Luo Bai's.
Thanos: "......"
