Chapter 238 - New Gacha Items

POV Rio

I look over the numerous items and summons I got from the Gacha, and all I could say was that this was a pretty great one.

'Maybe a little too many summons, but otherwise, it was great. The Witching Cloak and Magic Umbrella can be gifts. I will keep the Magic Conch and Downfall of Castle and Country. The Poison Apple and Fart Gun can go in my trophy room. The Veritaserum Recipe can go to Vesemir. The Chocolate Factory can go to Tempest. The Mystery Boxes can be stored for later. The Angel Ship Schematics can be sent to Faraday. Prevent and the Genetics Research can be sent to Orochimaru. It should hopefully help him in his research into the universal cure-all. I can just add the DNA chip now.'

I add the Opticoid DNA Chip to the Ultimatrix, and then I focus back on the items.

'The Pillar of Autumn can be sent to Tex for now. It is nothing too useful, but a new ship is always nice. The Dust Mine can be sent anywhere. Droids will run it, but I guess I will pass it on to Lex, and he can decide where it makes the most economic sense to place it. Now for the books. The recipe book is interesting, but not much else. I will try to make time to read the Journals, but that will likely have to wait. The Death System And How To Break It is a weirdly specific book, but I wonder what I might learn from it. And last but not least, The Book Of Hell. That book seems like it will be very useful if I do the Trial I just got. Speaking of which, I think I have a plan to clear it very quickly.'

The idea I had was from the research I had been doing for a while on Necromancy. If my theories and spellcraft were right, I could create something truly scary. Like a multiverse-level threat, kind of scary. The only downsides I found were that it would likely not be stable, and there was a really high chance that it would be nearly uncontrollable. The theorized power of the creature falling apart is terrifying. I was not sure if I would want to take the risk, but the Trial would give me the needed time to do more training.

'But arguably the hardest target to kill is the first. The Chaos Lords are more conceptual beings. They exist because Chaos exists. But then again, if my creation works, it would have the power of conceptual death. And if I die in the trial, I won't be harmed even by my own actions. It would be like a simulation of what would happen. And even if by some horrible situation it does hurt me, I have enough safeguards in place that I will be fine.'

The next section of items was the summons.

'Necrozma can be used as my backup plan when I go into the Trial. Now that I think about it, I have a lot of Temp Summons I need to use. Kushina will be sent to Tsunade for integration into society. Squid Girl will be sent to Mon Cala or Atlantis. Pequod can just be used whenever someone needs his assistance. Rem and Ram can work under Alfred. I am sure he will be glad to have more staff. As for healing Ram's horn, that is easy. I have numerous spells that can do that. Peroroncino will need to be made aware that he is free to do whatever as long as it isn't illegal. The last thing I need is to throw him into jail for sexual harassment.'

Then came the slightly more complex summons.

'I am not sure if I should hatch the Xenomorph Queen Egg. I will need to do more research on it. I need to know how long they take to mature. And if I will need to be a father again. Ganondorf is tricky. I will need to talk to him before I consider where to place him. It sounds like he will be fine, but I still need to make sure. If he is safe to be around, I will send him to Hyrule. Lastly, the Pillars. They are a bit tricky as to where to place them. I suppose I can let them decide what they want to do, and if they are needed, they can be gathered quickly to fight any threats that appear. Though I somewhat doubt they will be all that useful. They never showed that they were all that strong in the series.'

Once I was done looking over all of the Gacha results, I sent everything where it needed to go. I healed Ram's horn and sent her with Alfred. I talked with Ganondorf and found him to be genuinely sorry for his actions and was more than willing to change.

'If anything, he sounded exhausted. I can't imagine being stuck in an infinite loop of rebirth and death. He was stuck doing the same thing over and over again, but the results stayed the same. No matter what he did, he was cursed to rise, cause death and destruction, and then be slain by Link, and the cycle would restart.'

Peroroncino was very understanding and promised never to purposely cause any females to be uncomfortable, and he would never force himself on another. I was confident that Momonga would keep him in check in case he did start slipping. The Pillars were fairly understanding, and several already knew what they wanted to do with their newfound youth. Flash Magnus wanted to join the Royal Guard. Rockhoof was the same. Starswirl and Stygian wanted to join my School for Gifted Youngsters to learn about this new form of magic. Mage Meadowbrook wanted to learn about healing and alchemy. Mistmane and Somnambula were not sure what they wanted to do. I gave them all a room at the palace so they could adjust to this new world.

'Well, that went fairly well. Now let's buy the Starforge. I already know what star system I want to place it in.'

The Starforge I wanted was improved in many ways. But that came at a cost, 8.5 Billion System Points to be exact. It had the ability of several Megastructures. It had the all-seeing ability of the Sentry Array. It could turn planets or singularities into raw materials like the Matter Decompressor. It had a perfect stealth drive that could hide the entire star system it was in. It even had a second layer of protection that made the Starforge not appear if someone managed to get past the first layer of the cloaking. If all of that failed, it had over 10k weapon stations that require no ammo. It also had a shield that even I couldn't breach, as it had a practically unlimited charge. The station had an unlimited power source, but it couldn't be removed from the station, or else it would be too expensive to buy from the system. It could produce a Lucrehulk in 6 hours. And as long as it had materials, it could produce ships endlessly. It could produce ships with only the Force once per day instantly.

'Not that it's that important. It can produce ships extremely fast, so 1 free ship isn't that great. But it would cost too much to improve it.'

With Centerpoint Station, we could move planets from across the Universe to the Starforge to be broken down into materials. It wouldn't even need many planets to produce a fleet of over 4000 capital ships. The Starforge also had the abilities and effects of the Strategic Coordination Center Megastructure. Improving the coordination, speed, and effectiveness of all fleets, armies, and space stations. Unlike the original Starforge, this one could assist us in constructing anything, not just ships. The plan was to use it to help us construct a Matter Decompressor and a Dyson Sphere. The Matter Decompressor would be used on a supermassive singularity that we would make using Centerpoint Station. The idea being we would gather all the singularities in the Universe, and that would cause the Universe to slowly form into a singular galaxy. But we could also drain the singularities of the Universe of materials.

'If it all works, then we should have a perfect Universe that will have easy access to all the resources. And we would be better able to detect any anomalies. Whether they come from other Universes or our own Universe. It would also further complicate travel to this universe due to its man-made formation, and the super-massive singularity would also distort space, making travel between Universes more difficult.'

Of course, all of this was theoretical. The Science Division wasn't even fully confident that our plan was feasible. And it wouldn't even be fully implemented until at least Cetana was dealt with. Which was believed to be another 2 years or more.

'At least we have an 89% chance of beating her, as we can now outpace her. And she will start to drain all of her resources in these pointless wars. The Federation and Cetana don't even realize that they are digging their own graves. If all goes well, once the war ends, we will be the only space-faring civilization in this Universe. And they are also giving me an insane amount of XP constantly with all of their fighting. I think that last I checked, Avarice And Generosity have nearly 70 levels of XP. And Cetana is almost ready to begin her counterattack on Ego, which will give me a very large amount of XP.'

Those Gaunlets had been possibly the best item I had ever gotten from any Gacha ever. They solved my level issue, and I didn't have to do anything but watch the fighting. Once the Starforge was placed, I checked the time and saw that I had time to check the station before I retired for the day.

Authors Note:

Quite a few great results. As always, leave any suggestions for future Gacha, and I might add it to the list. I haven't decided on how strong the Triforce should be. I know it can grant wishes, but I am not sure what the limits are. If anyone knows, I would love to hear about it. Also, I thought it was 2012 in the story, but then I looked at the Gacha history and found what year it was. It's 2010. Until next time, Ciao.
