Chapter 60 - Chapter 58

Ellen is advancing against me, firing various missiles and using her territory to try to immobilize me, but with Belial I cut through her territory and with Reversal I change the direction of the missiles.

Quickly advancing against Ellen while shortening the distance, striking with Belial and throwing her against the buildings, but without giving her time to recover, I continue my attack.

She quickly regains her composure, defending herself, as I haven't scratched her with Belial, I can't use the illusions he is capable of, which is a great misfortune.

"For one who calls herself the strongest, don't you think you're very weak?" I say to Ellen as I begin to unleash various gigantic Reiryoku cuts that she defends with her territory or evades.

"You talk too much, Eclipse." In an instant, she appears, striking me with a kick that I catch her leg and then I throw her against another building, using Reversal to make her come towards me and striking with Belial.

"...How annoying," I murmur as Belial gets trapped in her territory. I pull Belial back and take distance as she takes distance to recover.

And soon we advance against each other at high speed, colliding, the impact damaging all the surrounding structures.

"Not bad... Eclipse," she says as she uses a series of missiles that release an intense light. I briefly step back, but see her frozen in place with an almost shocked expression.

"...It seems I have to go, not bad, Eclipse," she says as she moves away, clearly bothered by not being able to finish this.

"It seems Nibelcole did an exemplary job," I murmur. There is something I know, and that is that if Ellen is in a place, Isaac will also be there. So if Ellen is around, her boss obviously wouldn't be far away.

That's why, since the fight started, I've sent some Nibelcoles to go after Isaac, and they obviously reached him, but it seems it didn't go so well.

After all, they should have caught Isaac and taken him with them. If he wasn't taken, it means they were prevented.

'It must be that other girl who appeared in the anime along with Ellen.' It doesn't matter if the Nibelcole didn't succeed, at least it managed to achieve something useful, which was to drive Ellen away from me. I still need her acting on this stage.

I see that the Nibelcoles who were with Natanael have already managed to defeat the DEM ships, making them retreat. I notice a lot of people dead, it seems they thought it was a good idea to continue the fight and ended up just being entertainment for the Nibelcoles.

I wanted to hurt Ellen with Belial, but my lack of experience with weapons obviously affected my fighting style too much.

"Daddy! Your weapon! It was so much fun to use it!" 3 Nibelcoles appear holding my weapon, which soon dissipates along with the Nibelcoles, who also dissipate into sheets of paper.

'If I went back to Shiori now... would that be a good idea?' I question myself. Shiori is not stable enough to be left alone after all the problems she's had and the strong emotional dependence she's acquired.

But going there minutes after leaving may seem strange. I end up choosing to stay close, waiting. I want to wait at least 3 to 4 hours before going to see her again.

I take my phone and look at the news on the street, watching as people return to work as if nothing had happened, as spatial quakes are normal.

The reconstruction work in the destroyed areas is incredible, and how everything can be easily hidden from the public.

Since there's not much to do, I decide to talk to the Nibelcole. I started questioning the Nibelcole about everything she discovered and about herself. There were useful and useless things.

Some of the useful things were conversations and future plans related to Shiori that Isaac is planning, and with that I can use such things to my advantage and make Shiori see that humanity is not worth it.

However, when I questioned the Nibelcole about her own existence, she said she was not sure of anything and also said that she exists only to exist and has the purpose of serving my orders.

This is consistent with the anime, but it still opens a curious margin about what this false spirit really is.

And thanks to a long discussion with the Nibelcole, we arrived at a topic of interest, what to do with Mukuro. Mukuro's Sephyra has fused with her soul, so giving such a corrupted Sephyra to Shiori could be dangerous and unstable.

But throwing away such a powerful Sephyra is also a waste, after all Mukuro is undoubtedly one of the strongest, even though she doesn't get much attention.

So getting rid of her power, in my view and in the Nibelcole's view, is a complete waste, and unfortunately giving the Sephyra to the Nibelcole wouldn't work, since she is the product of a Demon King, and even if she was given the Sephyra, it would probably be lost when she was destroyed.

And we decided to come to the answer of giving this Sephyra to Shiori if nothing extra happens to interfere. Mukuro is crazy, but she seems obedient. She probably won't care if I try to remove the Sephyra from her body if it's for something that will help me.

And there's also the issue of body and soul compatibility, so the chances of Mukuro possessing Shiori are low for several reasons. At most, Mukuro would remain in Shiori's head.

Which is not such a good option, but it's still better than just throwing away such a useful power.

And after this long and decisive conversation, I went to Shiori. I, who have the keys to the place, simply enter without calling her and walk silently through the house.

'She seems to be in the bedroom...' I walk slowly to the bedroom and see her looking at her phone.

"Shiori, do you want to talk?" I call her attention, and she is quickly surprised to have someone here. She seems confused and undecided about what to say, becoming stuck.

"..." She just stares at me, not knowing what to do. The situation and the atmosphere are quite strange, and I think a few hours weren't enough for her.

"Shiori, if you need more time, I understand." I say, starting to close the door to give her some time, because she seems to need it.

"W-Wait..." She says, stopping me. She turns off the phone screen and puts it on the bed as she comes to me. She holds my hand and guides me to the bed, where we sit next to each other.

We remain silent for a few moments before she takes a deep breath and gathers the courage to speak.

"I-I understand..." She says, as if she were thinking about what she should say for this situation, but very confused and undecided to really choose something.

"..."

"A-And I don't mind that you've... well, it's okay that you've done all that and killed many... a-and I love you and I think I... can't hate you or leave you even knowing all this... h-haha, I'm strange, aren't I?" She says, looking at me as tears stream down her face.

I give her a kiss, surprising her, while wiping her tears with my hands.

"I love you too, Shiori. That's why I was honest with you. It's not strange that you choose me, it's just right because you love me and, as you love me, you want to be with me."

"That's why I told you about me and the fact that I will cause more destruction in the future." I hug her as she sheds more tears.

"Y-You won't just abandon me like everyone else is doing?" She questions me, hugging me. It's obvious that for her, her recent losses of friendships, as well as not having Kotori supporting her anymore, have affected her a lot.

'Well, that's kind of my fault.' I think, but my answer is obviously completely different, as I can't say I'm the one to blame for her having no one else.

"No, I'll never abandon you, Shiori." She hugs me tightly, crying on my shirt, seeming to have the same insecurity she had in the past world when she had just become a girl.

"Don't worry, Shiori. I'll take good care of you, and only you. You are of the utmost importance to me. You are my number one." It's not entirely a lie, but it's not like there are a second or third place.

Besides, I like her, so saying that I love her is not a lie either. She is exactly my type, since I've never really sought feelings related to someone's physical appearance, but rather how that person thinks of me and the things I do.

Shiori is quite beautiful, but most importantly, she loves me, doesn't bother me, is useful, and accepts me even though I cause deaths and destruction.

I start to lay her down on the bed. Now that she is more vulnerable, giving her pleasure will be much more effective.

"..." She looks at me blushing, with the tears still streaming, but just accepts it, after all, she knows that pleasure helps much more than pain, slowly turning into an addiction. I kiss her, lying on top of her to have a nice, warm time together.
